jan29: Travelling in December. Wanted to make the most of our 3 days. Map is very good. Priced because book is slightly out of date, so any shops or restaurants recommend maybe no longer be there. Already found where we're staying and how to get to square, bridge etc. Think I would recommend. Looking forward to using it. X

LilyRose: Having just returned from Prague, I found this book to be a very useful guide for my four-day stay - far more than its small size would suggest. There is a handy map which can be pulled out of the book (I did, I found it more useful that way). Strongly recommended.

Maggie B: I am in Prague right now trying to use this guidebook. Normally I love Lonely Planet and the pocket guides are good. This one is really messed up with shops and restaurants not marked properly or at all. Symbols and numbers don’t match up and it is incredibly frustrating. The historic sites are fine but someone clearly didn’t edit this edition properly.

Bill: Like it had never been used. Pullout out map missing, but no big deal since I have other maps. Definitely pocket size. Packaging was formidably good.

00-Cub: The book was easy to use and gave a good description of the most important landmarks. The only thing I feel can be improved, is a better categorization of what Lonely Planet considers "top sights". To make it easier to use the guide when planning a multi-person trip, it would be nice to have it more organized by type of attraction.

Alison Druce: I travel a fair bit and to get the most out of my visits I generally buy one or two guide books. In this case, due to they great feedback I only got this small one. But, its all you need.

The book is divided up into sections and even gives advice on one day trips and what to see. I am in Prague for 5 days and have already decided to see both Josef Koudelka photographic exhibitions but whilst the may willingly most of a day, I needed to know whats to see, when its best to see it and also what travellers usually miss. The book covers all.

Its small so it goes in my pocket or camera bag. No need to carry about large books (I have 36 Hours, 125 weekends in Europe and thats a book you would not want to carry with you). The Lonely Planet guide seems to be all I need.
