Amazon Customer: My husband and I spent a few weeks in Scotland to get married and this book was in my purse the entire time! Don’t waste your time trying to figure this all out on your own! I spent several months trying to plan, then right before we left I ordered this, just in case I “missed” something. I haven’t pulled out my binder and research one time. We went to a new city every few days.

B. Lund: Fantastic! This is the only travel book you're going to need to go to Scotland. This guy has been everywhere. Practical advice, nice little maps of different regions, where to stay, where to eat and ball park ideas of how much you'll spend. I also bought the "Rough" Guide to Scotland and, although a good book, if you can only buy one, get Rick Steves guide to Scotland. I have the third edition. I'm going to be making a solo trip and I feel so much better and more comfortable about going it alone after reading this book. I'm a 63 year old woman and I'm planning my trip for 2022. Can't wait!!
Oh! and there is a fold out map in the back of the book to give you a view on the entire country!
