Nanfran: This is the easiest World War 2 books I have read.Usually books like this are very explanitary but very hard to read.This book is small and easy to read.It has 1/2 page stories about the battles,heroes and villains.I recommend this book to help boys learn about the war which I feel they should know about.

Robert: I'm a WW2 buff so I was wondering if this had anything new for me to learn. It's definitely not thorough in it's writing but it's clearly meant for a younger audience, which is cool, the facts are still bang on, just nothing I didn't know. Goes through different aspects of the war well enough chapter by chapter from info about leaders, the buildup, USA during neutrality, Soviet-Nazi Pact, through to different operations and such year by year. Questions at the end of each chapter good for pub quiz like "What does Blitzkrieg mean?" "What symbol did the French Resistance adopt" and "What was Vichy France's official political position?" at the end of each chapter. If you got a kid interested in this or you want to get started learning yourself it's pretty good. But if you already have a bunch of books and documentaries don't expect to learn anything new.

Stephanie Lynn: I enjoyed reading this and learning some interesting facts about WWII. Easy to read and understand, this book is perfect for trivia fans who want to know more about WWII. None of the facts are hard to find and most are well known by historians, but it's perfect for normal people who just want to know a bit more, or anyone who wants to learn some neat facts. I enjoyed the layout of this book, with short chapters ending with some trivia questions to help you think more about what you just read.
