Leslie Leyh: Prior to the Pandemic we used Lonely Planet Guidebook's to plan our travels and development our itinerary for our trips. We found the layout and information very valuable bordering on indispensable to make our trip memorable and successful. Now we are planning a trip in 2022 to Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary. The Omicron variance may make that very difficult if not impossible though. It is presently December and our trip is planned for March so who know the lay of the land by then. If it doesn’t work out then at least it is “a good Covid 19 read”. We are trying to be hopeful though. Prior to March 2020 then weren’t those the days.

Michael Yoder: I used this for a weekend in Budapest. The book contained pretty much all I needed to be a near-optimal tourist. The type is small in places but still legible.

Phaedrus: This guide has good information, but it's unlikely you will be able to read it. Even if you are 20 years old, you will need a magnifying glass to read the text. Without question the most poorly typeset Lonely Planet guide book I've purchased, and also my last.

Sandra E.: Die Kindle-Version ist sehr unübersichtlich. Das Suchen von Einträgen ist schwer. Die Struktur des Reiseführeres ist auch nicht so gut. In verschiedenen Kapiteln tauchen die selben Sehenswürdigkeiten auf. Wenn man dann vor der Sehenswürdigkeit steht, muss man die Info aus verschiedenen Kapiteln zusammensuchen... und wie gesagt: das Suchen in der Kindle-Version ist nicht so einfach
