I have an old, but very nice set of 18v Bosch cordless tools that originally came with NiCad batteries. I bought these to have a spare pair in case the original battery packs fail (they are 17 years old). I couldn't believe how much the outside case looks like the original.. The originals were made in japan and these are made in China (ugh) but the physical casing is identical and the batteries seem to work perfectly (with 33% more current capability). I like these a lot

Years ago, I bought one of those sets of power tools. Bosch. Very well made tools. Problem? All NiCds.
After the batteries died, the tools just sat in a drawer in the shop. I had the batteries rebuilt once, but they never really lasted. Then I saw
these! NiMH replacements!! So I bought them and wow, it's nice to have these tools back in full operation again, and WITH MORE POWER THAN BEFORE!! A note on chargers: The NiCad Bosch charger works to recharge them, but because of the differences in battery technologies, NiCd vs NiMH, Get their charger specifically for NiMH. Compatibility is: NiMH charger is ok for NiCd, but a NiCD charger for NiMH is NOT.
10/8/22 Follow up. Both batteries are still in good shape and I use these tools several times a week on home projects. Really very satisfied!!

Only initial short term use to judge by. Appears to be a good product so far, only used one battery and have not depleted its charge after a decent amount of use. Used periodically after extended sitting time between uses ( weeks between use) and is holding the charge. Did not give 5 stars due to not being a comprehensive period to fully assess the product.
