Mike McNulty: Batteries seem to perform ok. The fit in the case was not so good. For being the same size as the original ones, I had to trim some plastic out of the battery case. It was still not the fit the original ones were. Ended up using black electrical tape to cover the gap in the cases.

F4Flyer: I purposely waited a year for this review since I had some doubt about how well these types of batteries would last under the circumstances, I use them. I connected these as a replacement to the original batteries on my garage door opener that failed after several years.
It takes a fair amount of power to open a garage door when the power to the house fails, and that is why I got these replacements... to work in an emergency to open the door when the power goes off. They have been doing that job well as I test them about every 6 months. I see that they are advertised for security systems as well, however several other types of systems use these batteries other than security alarms and certain types of garage door openers. I expect they will continue to operate for the typical 4-5 years of life that I expect. So far so good.
