CandaceCandace: This is the recumbent position in the pics. So, I'm 50, female, 5 feet 3 inches, and I have rheumatoid arthritis, and I love this bike, both in the upright and recumbent positions. I turn on YouTube music/nature videos and ride away. I'm lucky, as I tried to build it (but I've been married for 30 years and he's built it all, furniture/exercise equipment), but I gave up fast, whereas the experienced hubster said it took about half an hour, so take what you can from that info. Everything was well labeled and in perfect shape on my delivery. I use the pedals comfortably, with bare feet and haven't slipped. The monitor works, is basic, the ❤ rate works, the seat/back rest are SO comfy, not like the bikes from yesteryear at all. I had a treadmill before, so spacewise I compare it to that, which may not be helpful for you, but it's obviously smaller and way easier to move. The weight is in that part between the pedals, and I'm not strong, but it isn't that heavy, and, I mean, it needs its parts right?, so whatevs.
Having a new kitten is making riding more difficult, so probs don't do that, but watching her fascination with pedals adds to making it interesting. Anyway, this is my...

Amazoness Customer: We got the recumbent bike about a week ago. It's sturdy, nice framework. Set up was a breeze, according to my husband. Assembly took about 30 minutes.
I've used the bike a few times and it has me sweating bullets.
I find that it has firmed my glutes too. If you're looking to firm your booty up, cycling is good for that.
The seat could be a little wider or built differently to accommodate a man's jewels. My husband says he experiences a little discomfort from the seat. The only discomfort I encounter is my rear being sore from sitting on it for 30 minutes straight. I'd recommend putting a small cushion on the seat if needed.
One con I have about this product:
The calorie counter doesn't change its momentum no matter what speed you're pedaling at. If you pedal faster, you burn more calories, ideally. The display doesn't show this, it counts as if you were pedaling at a lower speed. It's unreliable. That's why I'm giving it four stars.
However, the time, speed, distance, and pulse rate meter seem to be accurate enough.

Judi J: It was a bit of a wait for the bike to arrive but once it did I was pleasantly surprised at how relatively easy it was for me to assemble by myself. I am a 60+ yr old single woman. I encountered only minor issues that I was able to solve quickly. Directions were clear and concise and all the nuts and bolts were packaged by step number. Very easy to follow. The seat is comfy and the semi-recumbent position is perfect for taking pressure off my back. My only criticism is that it doesn't allow for full leg extension. I am 5'10" and even with the seat at its highest setting, my legs are quite bent when pedaling. I may see if I can drill another hole in the seat support tube to raise the seat a bit more. Resistance isn't as high as I'd like ether so I guess that's two minor criticisms but for use while the gym in my building is closed, it does the trick. Love the size and portability too - easy to move into another room when company comes over. Reasonable price, although as seems to happen every time I make a purchase on Amazon, the price dropped considerably a day or two after I ordered.

Pammie: I received this bike on March 29 so I'm on my fourth week of using it. I exercise on it for six days weekly for no less than 30 minutes. I did a lot of research and I ultimately kept coming back to this bike. I like that's it's a substantial bike for the price point. My review of this bike is coming from someone who used to be a fitness instructor and has taken many spin classes. While this isn't a spin bike, I can at least give a comparison of it to a spin bike.
In reading some of the reviews, it looks like people are trying to put this bike in a category of a spin bike. It's unfair to compare it to a more expensive bike meant for spinning. This is not a heavy duty spin bike. However, I have found the tension to be similar to spin bikes that I have used in spin classes. It has a nice gradual increase with each knob click that very much simulates riding a bike outside. The two highest tension speeds are challenging and will get your heart rate up.
I am currently unemployed and living with someone. My exercise equipment is a bit bulky so it's in storage. I knew I needed to purchase something to get my body moving again and this was the perfect purchase. I put on my...

NBMaggie: ... was able to put this exercise bike together on my own following the clear and simple directions included with the tools needed. I did need to resort to using my magnifying glass to examine the details of the drawings for assembly as they were small but clear once I had the glass in hand. This bike appealed to me because of its wide seat (sorta matches my own). It is comfortable and I don't think I'll need a gel seat atop it. I also appreciate the back rest. Even though I'm really out of shape, I had to jack up the resistance to start to feel the exertion. Mind you, it was just a ten minute test run; no doubt I'll be singing a different tune once I stay on it longer. The machine parts are sturdy and solid. The assembled bike is very stable. I'm able to climb aboard without the use of a stool which someone had referenced in another review. The other big appeal of this bike was its very small footprint once folded but the fact is even in the working position it occupies a small footprint here in my seniors apartment. I was going to set it up in my bedroom but it fits very nicely behind my power recliner where I am often 'inclined' to watch TV. Now I can try to get my heart a bit...

SFWharfRat: I am thrilled with my decision to purchase the SF-B2721 Comfort XL Folding Recumbent Bike by Sunny Health and Fitness, and plan to keep up my weight loss (I’m working on it - have lost 37 just prior to getting this bike) while strengthening my legs! I am an avid Amazon shopper and have not been asked to do this review. I just wanted to reach out to handicapped, obese and/or elderly people like me that have no idea what to buy when shopping for an exercise bike on a small budget.
I am trying to figure out why there is only one review on this gem. Come on folks – it’s adjustable from an upright bike to a semi-recumbent bike (a bike you can sort of lean back in) – where else can you get this, especially at this price? So, I am also going to lay out (among other things) my physical status out below, much to my embarrassment, so that you can easily determine whether this is the bike for you.
Assembly: EASY. My husband helped hold the frame while I put the stand on both feet/stands. I didn’t need him after that. I did the whole thing myself. Just follow the instructions. Probably took me 45 minutes but I was just relaxing and taking my time, the whole time...
