eufyCam Wireless Home Security System: Keep Your Home Safe with a Comprehensive Surveillance Solution

KK: I can't say enough about how much I love the Eufy security camera system. I purchased this in Sept of 2020 and became very reliant on this system to protect our home and monitor our main entryways. A fun bonus is that we had no idea how much wildlife comes to our front door and patio during the night. The quality of the night vision is great, it records in black and white (unless you have outdoor lights which illuminate the field in which the camera takes video, then it will be in color). The video quality overall is very crisp and clear.

The cameras are quick and easy to set up. Just download the free Eufy app and it prompts you through each step. The camera set up only took me five minutes and I was thinking it would take much longer. Prior to setting up I had watched a YouTube video on installation which was also helpful. Mounting the cameras is also very easy. It comes with the necessary hardware and you can choose to use the heavy duty magnet or the screws. Richard P: I love this camera system. The app works perfectly without monthly fees. The batteries are still full after a month and a half. Installation is super easy. Video quality is excellent. I get notifications on my phone when there’s movement in a specific zone. Only downside is the short reach of the signal. I had to move the base in another room, but it works perfectly now.

Mike Kirch: As a blanket statement, overall I am happy with this product. I don't want anyone given the lenthy write up I am about to write to think I am not. Are they perfect and my dreams fullfilled? No... Is this a technology that has been perfected yet ( wireless battery powered cams ). No. This is what you have to keep in mind when dealing with these types of tech. This company is wonderful as far as customer service goes and that has been my saving grace. _Anonymous: I selected this security system based on easy installation and the long battery life. I would say most wireless systems have limitations compared to wired ones, but if you need to do a quick install yourself with little maintenance, eufy is a good choice.

I purchased this eufy system that includes 2 eufyCam E cameras and then purchased 3 more eufyCam E cameras to add onto the system. I was able to run the whole system within the day. One of the cameras did have a purplish hue casted on the video image, which washed out the colors in the video. I emailed tech support (after the 30-day return policy but within the 1 year warranty) and I immediately received a replacement camera the next day, thanks to Valen, from tech support.

My cousin has the Arlo system (the first edition) and needs to recharge the cameras every week. Our camera settings are similar and for my eufy cameras, it has been 8 months with no recharge needed. We both get false alerts when it gets windy and branches are moving or when cats and birds are around. Peit: I've only had my Eufy Cam E two camera system for about four days and I am very happy with the performance thus far. I've purchased five different brands of wireless video systems and almost purchased a popular and expensive brand. Thought I'd try this one to see how well it performs. With regards to installation, read and follow the inspections. It helped me to go onto YouTube for further instruction.

What I like most about the Eufy Cam E system is the Eufy App on my iPhone. The videos download and play fast. The Eufy App is easy to use and I like the ability to seem video clips almost immediately. Navigating the App is easy. Video quality, motion detection, picture quality I gave five stars as I compare it to the systems I have used.

The only thing I'm not sure about is how long the one charge will last per camera. So far, I'm still at five bars on battery life and they are placed in high traffic areas, i.e. front door and family room. I don't have many outdoor outlets so this wireless Eufy Cam E system will meet my need to view the back and side of my property.

The two-way audio is very good too.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I will start with the challenges as there are so many more positive things about the EufyCam
security system I figure start with the minor details first. First it is very frustrating to get activity zones to work effectively and once set, seems to not detect motion at all. Also, if a subject is moving quickly, while motion may be detected there is no 3 seconds look back which means you may not actually have a subject by the time the recording starts. Thus, camera placement is critical and should be positioned where subjects roam across a wider field of view. I do not consider either of these issues showstopppers, as the activity zones aren't necessary if you tune the motion sensitivity and the triggered camera recording delay can be accommodated by overlapping fields of view using multiple cameras.

On a completely positive note the cameras are very easy to install, the battery life is very good and the local storage is very cost effective over the competition. Since we have limited bandwidth at our Cottage, local storage was essential, thus I spent a bit extra and purchased 128G SDXC cards for the Base. I never worry about storing locally as the...

The battery life, well I have had cameras going for 4 months, lots of activity on them and they are still at 100% battery life. Easy to install, and all the features work, you just need to customize the setting to your application. Great product definitely recommend, night vision is clear and works great.

Doug: I installed the 2 camera kit about two weeks ago and have no issues so far. Setup and installation is simple but the first firmware update took several minutes so be patient. That being said, I'm glad to see updates coming to improve the system and it's functionality. Also nice to have the included SD card.

The app is very clean looking and being able to customize a schedule is a huge plus. The picture quality and sound quality are very good and the range on the unit seems good as well. The farthest camera is about 60 feet from the base with 3 walls in between and it still works without any issues, managing 2 signal bars out of 3. This was a pleasant surprise.

The cameras feel solid and easy to mount. The ball socket seemed to be a little loose when trying to hold the weight (Jammed full of battery I assume) of the camera in the position you place it. I ended up folding a piece of electrical tape and put it in there to snug it up. The sensor range is quite good and I like that you can set it to set off an alarm from the camera when it detects motion.
