Nicht einfach zu werfen, aber bis auf den Griff, unverwüstlich. Der Griff ist für ein Wurfgerät ungeeignet, ist auch schon defekt.
Dennoch würde ich sie immer wieder kaufen

Jason Hatch: Very sturdy. Much more solid than the Smith and Wesson and SOG throwing axes. Weighs about 2 lbs. Very satisfying when it hits the target. It's actually a functional hatchet too. I would not hesitate to take it camping or split some kindling up with it. The lifetime guarantee is a bonus too!

Nobody: To say this is a solid product and purchase is an understatement, and from reading other reviews it apparently makes a good throwing axe.
The blue one has a nicer gloss finish (the eagle image is a decal that comes off) that will last much longer than the black one which will wear off much easier, but the construction is the same. The sheath is good for storage but is difficult to get on/off quickly, however the axe should attach to a tool-belt quite nicely.
I would consider buying this again as I already purchased one for myself and as a gift for someone else.

Cris: As a rockhound I have had several Estwing rock hammers and paleo picks which I have used to beat solid rock into pieces, so when I want shopping for a hatchet they were the natural choice. I bought this double bit on sight.
Feels great in the hand and has a longer handle than most hatchets I have used. Going to be great for kindling and potential self defense out in the woods. Single piece construction makes these tools dang near indestructible.
There's something about Estwing tools where you can feel all the potential work it can do just holding one. I love Estwing blue and the soft handles. As someone else said in another review, this thing is going to outlive me.

Amazon Customer: Best ax for my timber framing restoration project I could hope for. Would prefer a longer handled version for actual forestry and brushing work.
Absolutely well built, single forged steel with almost no vibration is felt.
Estwing is the only way to go with any hammer/ax tool for hand work for me.

Aaron: I love this axe, perfect balance for thowing and being a double bit it sticks even if it over rotates. I don't have pics only video. Still an awesome axe and a fantastic price. Not a fan of the shipping package, it was dropped in a bubble wrap and the axe head wasn't covered well so the rubber coating on the edge came off sometime during shipment cutting the package and exposing a sharp blade and consequently part of the blade was damaged. I hope Amazon reads this and fixes shipment packaging for other buyers, it just needed and extra wrap around the head to keep it safe and the workers who touch it safe.

Cape Girl: Love Estwing's solid construction! I took the stickers off, got their residue off with Goof Off, and did a light oil. I didn't have any need to sharpen mine--it came 'axe sharp' and as I don't confuse my axe with a straight razor, that's just right. I know some people have this thing where every cutting tool has to be 'shaving sharp', but there are actual reasons why the sayings are 'shaving sharp, knife sharp, axe sharp' to show the different edges you should sharpen each tool to. Although the two Customer Q&A answers here say it comes with a sheath, mine didn't.
(UPDATE: 1/7/16 I saw that they now sell the sheaths for their line up at their home website, I called their customer service and got a sheath for my axe for $5.60. Very happy--both with the friendly customer service rep and getting a sheath. Sure you can go get a custom one for fifty plus bucks, but if you just want a cover, this is sweet. I know, I know $5.60?! Don't freak out, this sheath is solid. Slim fitting, quality made, four snap closure--two at the bottom tips to keep the edge from sliding down and poking you, two on extenders to keep the neck in place securely. Open all four, slide head in, tap it...

Aidon M.: i have the tomahawk and didnt like the weight difference between the large and small side so got this one. hte even weighting feels better to me although all ive used it for is kindling. its super comfortable to use although the handle is a bit longer than my old wood handle hatchet. i got tired of trying to keep the old head on the wood handle. as long as the grip doesnt start to slide off the body like some hammers i've had i'll be happy
