massolmassol: tres facile a brancher car un seul cable USB, pas de soucis de fonctionnement avec Mac, il le reconnait de suite, ( normal c'est du Mac ! ) logiciel tres simple a utiliser, toutefois 2 petits défauts : pas de bouton d'arret on dois débrancher l'USB, sinon il reste allumé en permanence, et bruyant en fonctionnement, mais pour le prix rien a redire

Greg B.: It works fine and has great picture quality! It has a slim and lightweight design. I knock off 1 star because of the following: build quality is just OK (seems cheap), no independent power supply (powered by USB cable to PC), and no power button (when connected to your PC the scanner is always ON - you have to unplug the USB cable to turn OFF the scanner - super annoying).

The included software is just OK, but gets the job done. The application interface closes after each scan (so, you have to relaunch the app for each page you are scanning - also annoying).

Would I buy it again? Yes. The options are limited in this category.

Note: If you need a longer cable (as I did), this will work with your own USB cable. Be sure to order the right type of cable! The manual is not clear on this. You need a USB 2.0 Type-A to Micro-B 5-Pin cable. I have a 15-foot cable and it works with no issues.

Amazon Customer: Great scanner for the price. I wish it had an SD card slot for scanning directly to a card. But it does have a USB port to scan via that to the computer. The software drivers are available on the internet and install easily and work well.

NOTE: You can scan one picture at a time or multiples, just be sure to leave some space between them on the glass as that is how the scanner differentiates. After the scan, they will have a generic name but you can rename them via right click or a slow double click as usual. I have already scanned over 500 pictures for my first project.

Although it purports to also allow some minimal red eye and color correction, I have not used those features.

Will: I bought this for a long term scanning project of scanning our kids art work, misc items, photos, and documents. And it's been great!

Pros
No power cable. It gets power from the USB cable that connects to your computer.

It's not heavy fits easily into one of my desk drawers.

It's scans pretty fast. I mean it's a consumer flat bed scanner don't expect commerical grade speedy fast lol.

It supports tons of settings with Epson software or with the default macOS scanner software.

Cons
I'm using this with my M1 MacMni so maybe the Epson software experience is different for Windows. But I'm not a fan of the Espon software. You're prompted to install a ton of software, as is the usually thing all these companies do (Espon, Canon, etc.). Now I only have the Epson photo scanning software installed. Some times I use it but I've gravitated to the macOS scanner and printer software. This is 100% personal prefernece of course. But to me it's a con because good hardware should have equally good software. But don't let this deter you from putting it on a list of scanners your considering.

hab mir das ding nach bissle recherche im netz gekauft und bin absolut zufrieden mit den ergebnissen. mit ein minuten rumspielerei beim setup konnte ich das gewünschte ergebnis zum einscannen meiner polaroids erzielen und selbst wenn die gespeicherten profile beim nächsten start kompletten müll abgeliefert haben so hilft es mir doch sehr dass alle einstellungen sofort im preview fenster angezeigt werden und ich entsprechend die teils hahnebüchenen color corrections deaktivieren kann.

Gavin Gifford: I originally bought this scanner to create high-res digital images of my artwork. The instructions were a tad confusing at first, but I figured it out.
I then installed the software needed to operate the scanner, onto my computer. I went through all of the proper steps, following the installation instructions to the letter. Then, I tried to use the scanner. And that is when the first issue occurred.

I placed a piece of my artwork on the scanner bed and opened the proper program on my computer. I then tried activating the scanner. The software popped up a little window saying: "No Scanner Detected." Okay. So I tried plugging the USB cable into a different port and restarting the program. Same issue. I repeated this process multiple times, trying the cable at least three times in each of the four USB ports on my computer.
I tried using the buttons on the scanner to scan the picture, to no avail.
I tried restarting the computer and doing it all over again, but that didn't work. Finally, I figured I should try re-installing the scanner software. I uninstalled the software, restarted my computer, then re-installed the software. Then, I tried scanning...
