Amazon Customer: More expensive than most and worth every penny. Won't wreck you blades. No marking and places for food residue to hide. Same material the kids skateboard on. Bulletproof almost! Don't waste your money on bamboo or plastic. It's real wood or Epicurean for me.

Mike: Lightweight and sturdy. Stays in place and doesn't slide or scratch. I've cut fish, chicken and veggies on this with no issues. I use the hole to hang this on a hook. I used LOVIMAG Strong Magnetic Hooks (Amazon) attached to the side of my fridge to hang this. But thin enough to store in a drawer.

I have used all the high end brands of cutting boards..
I use quality high end knives.
My first Epicurean ( 9 x 11 nutmeg color), is the one that I always grab multiple times a day. It is well over 10 years old. Easy to clean, lightweight, not clumsy, and requires no maintenance.
So now I bought an 8 x 6 in natural for small jobs like cutting a sandwich, chopping one or two cloves of garlic.
The little guy hangs proudly beside his bigger, older brother and performs perfectly for all the little things.

patty steeler: 軽くて洗うのも楽々ですが、軽さ故の安定感がイマイチかな？
まな板の裏に水が入って幕が張ると滑ります。
あと塩素系の漂白はダメです！黒くなりますので。
小家族が一人暮らしで扱いやすさ重視の方にはとても良いと思います。

JocelynJocelyn: I bought this board in January 2020. It has never been scratch resistant, however after a few years of use, I have found the board leaves particles on the food when cutting. I ditched plastic for the same concerns (micro plastics on food)...this is probably still better than most plastic boards for food prep. However, I’m disappointed in the longevity of this product.

Overall, this is a convenient lightweight board, easy to keep clean (no oiling, and it can go in the dishwasher), that isn’t too porous (until it’s scratched up…) and fairly knife friendly (because it is soft enough to scratch, it doesn’t dull the blade fast).

SFCTSFCT: Certainly not non-scratchable, but it should be better than the plastic boards. So I still love it
