Amazon Customer: Programming is a little difficult. I had it wrong at first. Break out your reading glasses as the font on the unit is super small and dimly lit. Once programmed correctly it has been flawless.

Janice Brasier: My husband is pretty good with electrical work but this install was a challenge for him. It took a couple of tries and a Google search before he managed to get it to work. Instructions provided were not very clear. Once installed, it was fairly easy to program. Get your magnifying glass out though as the digital display is very small! Make sure you pick ‘all week’ for every day programming not just the days of the week if you want the light to come on every day and not just certain days. Also, you need to repeat the same programming at night. Be sure the display shows AM and PM - it can be tricky to see that. Now that it is programmed, it works well.

Bob: This is exactly what I was looking for, an attractive light switch/timer that was easy to install, easy to program and didn't have a lot of complicated features I didn't care about, such as a built-in astronomical calendar.
I also wanted a backlight that would only come on when pressing buttons and would turn off a few seconds after I was finished setting it, so it wouldn't be glowing all night in the bedroom.
Finally, I also wanted a fully-manual mode which ignored the programming, not simply a manual override which would then resume following the schedule the next time the program rolled around.
The only thing I would change on this is, while people may think the blue backlight is cool, it is one of the hardest colors to read black text against. I would much prefer a white or amber backlight or even red for night vision.
This timer requires a connection to the neutral wire of the load circuit for a complete circuit to power the timer. While several reviews by people who didn’t have a neutral wire in the junction box made the timer work by connecting the timer neutral wire to ground, this not a good practice. The numbers are small when programming and it would be better it it was backlit, but all in all it was easy to programme

G.Gu.G.Gu.: First, I purchased a BN-Link 7 Day Programmable in-Wall Timer Switch, I wanted to use it to replace a toggle switch on my second floor that controls a furnace blower at basement and a fan in a bathroom. the blower and fan are synchronized on/off. this situation is more complicated than normal, so I was not able to figure out how to wire it and do the replacement, then I sent photos of toggle switch connection asking for help, no reply was received after 2 days, then I returned it. The product came with a wall plate.
Then I sent my photos to Enerlites for help before I placed an order of ENERLITES HET01, I obtained wiring instruction the second day, so I placed the order immediately, and installed it successfully. It works exactly as described. I set the timer switch to run for 15 minutes every hour and every day from 10 pm to next day 4 pm, total of 18 on/off settings. The only thing is that it does not come with a wall plate as shown in the photo. I contacted custom service and requested to ship me a cover plate, the person agreed to ship me a new set, however, it came also without a wall plate. Yara GreyjoyYara Greyjoy: It wasn't hard to figure out the wiring, that was pretty straight forward, I've wired switches before. Worst problem was the box was crowded, it's a dual switch for porch light & inside foyer lights. My goal is to have it turn the front porch light on at dusk and off at dawn, 7 days a week. I don't need or want the random stuff or the other 17 schedules. Just one program, off every morning, on every evening.
I got the clock set and that works fine. I set ~program one~ at all seven days, on at 8pm, off at 6:15am.
And that's as far as I got with it. The instructions are as clear as a bucket of mud. They are obviously translated (poorly) from Chinese.
The touch panel seems to make contact with three different buttons that say "MAN" which are obviously the manual override buttons.
But why three of them? Are they all identical? Or does pressing different ones do different things? I can't figure that out. Why not just ONE button?
So then you press them and it cycles through the options of:
1. Man ON
2. Man OFF
3. Auto ON
4. Auto OFF
It seems if the display reads MAN ON or MAN OFF, the light is on or off and does not operate in auto...
