Mr. Freeman: Definitely effective if you can ignore extreme noise level in your room but the main deal breaker: it is advertised as Amazon Alexa compatible which is why I chose this unit in the first place but the App is not working and pairing process is quite shady. You have to give your wifi info and password to the app itself, and regardless it would not work. There is 0 information on how to troubleshoot the app issues in anywhere including the manufacturer's website. All in all, I will probably end up sending it back.
Update: after couple days later decided to give it another shot and by doing exact same process it worked and connected to the wifi and now both App and the Alexa voice commands work. Either the noise is reduced or I am getting used to it but it is still noticeably loud and power-wise it is a beast. Still for the headache it caused me at the beginning and App asking your wifi password being quite fishy I will change my initial 2 star to 4.

CA Yooper Guy in FLA: Doing a great job after 6 months. Hasn't put much of a dent in my FL Power&Light bill. Easy to use. Provides good source of distilled water as well. If it holds up, it will prove to be a great value and investment.

Jenna: I can’t believe I’ve gone this long living without a dehumidifier in Florida, this thing has made SUCH a difference!! No more moldy windowsills, my hand towels actually get dry between uses, the air feels lighter, our clothes smell better. If you’re considering getting one, just do it!
This dehumidifier was easy to set up, easy to empty the water chamber, and not too loud. I worried this might be too big for the size of our house (less than 900 sq ft) but it has been perfect! We empty the water chamber once a day and it doesn’t run constantly like a smaller dehumidifier would. Also love the comfort option, it only turns on when it needs to.

Matthew V: I moved into a house with an unfinished (as in, the walls go up halfway and the rest is just dirt) basement that I really wanted to be able to use for storage. I didn't think it seemed particularly dank down there, but this dehumidifier is WILD. It now lives in the sink so it can drain (no drains on the floor, so a hose wouldn't really work for the setup), but prior to that we were emptying it several times a day, which to me indicates that it's really doing its job!

It runs 24/7 and now drains directly into the sink. Especially during the summer, there's a stark difference between the upstairs and basement as far as humidity. If you're reading this review, I'm guessing you're looking for a dehumidifier, or perhaps just mulling over the idea. My advice - get a dehumidifier! This one is affordable and works well. I love it.

Juan CarlosJuan Carlos: Tiene nivel excelente de eficiencia, lo he probado en uso 6 hrs en la noche y Consumió 6kw en total vale la pena el consumo eléctrico el cual no es caro en recibo de luz... Y depende de la humedad qué tengas puedes programar para q disminuya hasta 35%. Vale la pena esta inversión. Al principio mi esposa y yo lo usábamos en las tardes y en las noches o mientras salimos al trabajo porque era pesado respirar en la mañana ahora es menor el uso. Lo hemos conectado a un smart plug o enchufe inteligente y tmb lo he desconectado de esa manera para evitar consumir energía mientras no estamos. Del mismo modo se puede programar su apagado pero mejor lo hemos desconectado desde internet por medio del enchufe inteligente que fue un complemento aparte adquirido.

Jorge Arturo Cuevas: Muy intuitivo en su funcionamiento, en una tarde redujo humedad en una habitación de 65 a 45. Trabajando 4 horas por día en 3 días ya tenía en contenedor lleno de agua y me ayudó a recuperar el nivel normal de humedad. Cuando lo recibí me impresionó lo grande que es pero definitivamente funciona a ese nivel. Lo recomiendo para problemas de humedad que requieren corregirse rápido.

Cliente de Amazon: Para que no haya humedad en un departamento que tiene poco uso. Nos ha gustado mucho porque padecemos alergia a la humedad, lo he dejado prendido por la noche y respiro muy bien y en la mañana amanezco sin nariz tapada.
