Casey: The cheaper batteries work when you just put them in but in the long run they don’t last as long as a quality battery and are less likely to leak and ruin your device. For pease of mind get the better battery.

Fred Malby: Ordered two packs of these batteries as I believed that being in original energizer packaging might give me a reasonable expiry date. No such luck on 8-10 years. Got them feb7/22 and expiry date is march/23. So will unlikely get full use of them.Obviously the supplying company is supplying near expired batteries at a discount. (Am presuming they’re cheaper). Also being near expiry date they may not last nearly as long. I really think this is fraudulent selling as one does normally expect about 10 years of shelf life. I would not buy batteries again through Amazon. The presumed lower price is not worth getting only 10% of normal expected shelf life. Just tried to use the batteries and none worked . They are 12 V batteries and all tested between 7-9 V, way too low. Supplier was “My battery supplies” via amazon. Don’t waste time with their batteries. I sent them back for refund.
