GreatLakes: Excellent quality and quick drying. Easy on and off with lots of adjustability. Love the handle on back. Lots of comments (all good) from others at the beach. Everyone loves the stand up fin. I like the fun because it helps to keep dog visible in the water. Bought medium for cockapoo, 22 pounds.

SirenSiren: I got this for my girl. She loved it. She was able to swim just fine. Didn’t get in the way of her natural movements. It did keep her above water. Easily maneuvered in the water. It dried off relatively quick. Would but again.

Mari McCarthy: The media could not be loaded.  Our fur baby was definitely afraid of the pool when we moved to our new house. For being a lab and made for swimming, she was very scared of the water. We figured this life vest would be a good way to ease her into it.
She is about 55 lbs so on the lower end of the XL size, but I do wonder if I could have gone with the L. The velcro under her ribs has to be fastened all the way (almost past where it has the ability to) and the front part under her neck is also waaaaayyyy too big for her. We have to strap that piece on all the way.
Mind you she is in the smaller side compared to most Labs. However, overall, this life vest does exactly what we bought it to do. She is now a regular water dog and hates getting out of the pool. She can even swim without the life vest on now but we usually leave it on for our peace of mind. Even if it is a little big, it gave our sweet girl the confidence to swim on her own and helped ease our nerves about her swimming!
Will be buying another once our new lab puppy gets bigger!

As we're using a paddle board in open water, she just keeps swimming around us, and with the help of this jacket, we know she's a lot safer! We used the measurements and purchased the XL, due to her deep chest that her deep chest.
