Amazon Customer: In the summer could make a good heat reflector, out hiking my a good shield and reflector if you need one.
I put it under the cats and dogs bedding also to reflect their body heat back to them.

Alex F: These mylar blankets are about 15% larger than the blankets you can buy else where. If you've ever used mylar blanket you know that most of them seldom cover you completely. These are the largest I've found and when you need an emergency blanket, that's important. They also feel a little bit thicker that most blankets, but I haven't measured them, so I can't say that for sure. But their strong and don't tear easly (in fact they're hard to tear by hand). If your going to use an emergency blanket, because your caught in the cold, spend the money and get one that will keep you warm and dry. Surviving and emergency isn't the time to go cheap.
