SIYOSIYO: I used this to line cat shelters for the winter. These work great to keep a few ferals who live outside warm during the winter months. If you are going to use this for cat shelters make sure to put a layer of insulation and then line it with these blankets. Lay some straw at the bottom and you will have nice and toasty cats. I put my arm into the finished shelter and I could definitely feel the heat radiating back onto my skin. Works great!

Shelley Blecha: This thermal blanket can and is used for many things around our farm. We used it to cover the insulation in our well house . Temperature raised 30 degrees in the cold weather and held to keep it at 60 . Outstanding when our pipes froze two years ago here in south Texas. I also use them in my feral cat houses , and in the garage to line insulation on my garage door . Always have them in our cars, trucks, and tractors .

J. Lewis: Came in QUITE handy during winter power outage. The mylar keeps you warm and may save on hotel bills if you can tough it out or have no other alternative. I also keep one in my car for emergencies.
