Jen M: I was looking for ways to stay warm but not get sweaty during winter sleeping, and Reddit's top recommendation was a wool blanket. After doing a bit of searching, I found this one that was 100% wool, highly rated, and the size I preferred (90 x 90 to fit in a queen duvet cover). I love this blanket!! I've only used it a couple of nights, but it's been amazing. The nights have been cold, and my thermostat is set to 65, but I was perfectly warm all night and did not wake up sweaty at all. It's a real game changer for winter sleeping! It's also a nice weight. I wouldn't describe it as lightweight, but that's not what I was looking for in a winter blanket (campers/backpackers might want something lighter weight).

Now that I know it works, I'll wash it with some wool detergent to remove the faint wool smell, and I'll stick it inside the duvet cover (which it's the perfect dimensions to fit!). It would definitely be a little itchy directly on skin, so I had it layered between sheets the first few nights.

口コミが英語ばっかりだったのでよく分からなかったけど、評価は良かったので買ってみた。
商品自体は、結構、重い。肌触りは、それなり。まあまあチクチクします。匂いも油っぽい匂いがします。（嫌いではない）
アクリル素材が嫌いなので、個人的には満足。
キャンプとかには、いい気がします。ガシガシ使えそうな感じ。
日本語のレビューがあまり無いので参考にしてもらえれば、幸いです。

Amazn Buyer: I have several wool items on each floor throughout my house and compared to all the others, this blanket really stands out - it is a truly superb wool blanket.

It does not have a soft hand like a Faribault, Pendleton, Woolrich or some of the other more recognized brands, but it is not priced in that category either. Nor is it Alpaca or Cashmere. However, these differences takes nothing away from the quality of this blanket.

For just over $60 I received a dense, luxuriously warm, heavy, 100% wool blanket. This is the heaviest wool blanket I have ever felt (in this dimension). In fact, after I received this one and thoroughly examined it, I immediately bought another one (Blue Sunrise Striped - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BGVNG78C?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) and may order more for my camping activities.

I like to keep my thermostat set in 60's during the cool/cold seasons and use blankets when I'm reading or watching movies. There is something very comforting with quality items and this inexpensive blanket exemplifies that. It has supplanted my old standby and has become my new favorite.

The only downside I've noticed is the usual "new...

MacTech: I started off with the Queen size olive drab blanket, and was quite impressed, it’s warm, has a pleasing weight, the homey smell of a natural wool blanket, bringing me back to happy childhood days on the family farm, and as far as wool blankets go, it’s quite soft as well.

No it’s never going to be as soft as a cotton or flannel blanket or comforter, but it’s not the itchy, scratchy wool blanket of the past.

I’m slowly upgrading my bedding, and replacing the cheap big-box comforters and their mysterious unknown fillers and cheap polyester construction with natural, durable replacements, flannel bed sheets, flannel comforter, and wool blankets, moving the cheap big box store bedding to my 2010 Toyota Matrix I have set up for car camping.
