Judy L.: I really like the size. I wasn't looking for a large kettle and this works great in the small space I needed one. When it's turned on you will see a blue glowing light and it shuts off when it reaches it's boiling point. I would say if half full, it takes less than 3 minutes to boil. Nice, basic electric kettle.

Beverly Knauer: I love this kettle. It’s perfect for me. I gave up K-cups awhile ago and have gone to grinding beans and doing ‘pour over’ coffee. I needed something to boil the water and this was it.

It’s a perfect size for me and I love the swivel base it sits on. I also like that it is clear glass and I can see how much water is in it.

When you turn it on, the blue light that illuminates on the bottom looks really cool and the water boils quickly. The best part is, once it reaches a full rolling boil, it turns itself off. This is a great safety feature, especially for those of us who have a tendency to forget to turn off a pan on the stove. That’s why I think it is especially good for older folks who have a tendency to forget things or even just someone very busy with lots of things on their mind. The other safety feature is that the kettle that contains the water is cordless so easier for pouring. It’s a great value for the money.

I’m very pleased with this purchase.

However, it can leak if filled above the 5 cup mark, and it is not suitable for more than three people or large gatherings. It is very important not to fill it above 5 cup mark. The manual says between 3 and 5.
I did not get the maunal with this item and when I was simply trying to fill it to the capacity
leaving some two inches from the top then I experienced a heavy water leak while boiling
and I did not know where it was coming from thinking there is abottom leak.
So apparently it does NOT leak from the bottom, you just need to be very
careful how much you feel up this thing. Look inside for Min Max marks
that I also did not pay attention to and they are there... otherwise
also the manual says:
it has to be dry on the outsid and the base has to be dry while using
so important safety issue.
The manual is in your order record while you click the support button and follow instructions.

I bought this pot some 6 months ago. Love it totally. I was very careful with choosing a pot as
I love all things organic, clean, no plastic and non leaching materials, no aluminum and no coatings of a non stick type.

So this felt like a good choice and it is indeed a healthy choice as I had a chance to browse ton of all different kinds. I finally settled for this...
