Elechomes 4-Slice Belgian Waffle Maker with Removable Plates

Amanda Theresa Capurso: It's so niiiiiiiice. Removable griddles for easy cleaning. Technically they are dishwasher safe, but having washed both by hand and in the dishwasher I actually prefer by hand. The dishwasher (at least mine) doesn't quite strip all the grease off. Washing by hand with a nylon scrub brush is super easy and removed the grease. (be aware that the first time you wash it there might be black smootz that comes off the *back. It's not near any food. And seems to be a one time thing.)
It cooks waffles, obviously but I have also used it to cook latkes/potato pancakes. I'm working my way up to cake batter et c.
Love the 'over flow' resovoure that prevents mess if we over fill it.
Read the directions. When the spray grease goes on it IMPORTANT.
That is actually the only annoying thing about it. The spray grease goes on *after it's hot which means you just kinda have to stand back and spray and then scrub overflow of the walls/counters later. I've tried cheating and doing it before hand and ended up with burned grease.
All in all worth the money.

S. LeBarnes: the temperature gage is not accurate, you should just leave it on high and time it for what ever the recipe calls for.
would be nice if the plates were heavier metal, but they do the job nicely and so easy to remove and clean.

MeMe: Used this morning. Made breakfast waffles using enclosed recipe book recipe. Just wonderful! Heated quickly, beautiful waffles done in only 3 minutes. Dark setting resulted in evenly perfect not too crisp delicious waffles. Made three batches same result each time.

I will freeze leftovers and reheat in my two-slice toaster. I will follow-up with frozen/reheat results with waffles made in my Elechomes waffle maker. Also looks nice on my kitchen counter taking little space.

Follow-up 07/21/22 - I removed waffles from freezer. Let sit 5 minutes. Put waffles in 2-slice GE toaster. Set on frozen, shade 2 1/2. Result, perfect waffle texture/taste. Can't get any better than this

Marc: My nephew loves waffles! He likes to have waffles on the weekends when he comes over and we used to just use ego waffles. I thought it would be better to just make some, plus it would be fun to make batter with him. He loves the waffles out of this waffle maker. We have been using Hungry Jack Buttermilk Pancake and Waffle batter. The recipe for pancakes works PERFECT. 1 cup mix plus 3/4 cup water and it is the exact amount for this waffle maker (set on 3 1/2- 4). BONUS the recipe for cinnamon bread waffles in the back of the recipe book minus the cheese and just laying one slice of bread in each one of the four areas made really great French toast waffles!! This waffle maker has been so much fun for us to use. Easy to remove cooking plates and cleans up in the dishwasher.

Original 4.7.21 - I spent hours looking at pictures and reviews of at least 12 different waffle irons. I finally chose this one because I was specifically looking for detachable plates that made four waffles at once. This waffle iron is easy to use, easy to clean, heats up fast and makes beautiful, golden waffles. We make sour cream waffles specifically and have had no need for oil or spray. They come out crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It makes perfect waffles. I highly recommend this iron and if you're like me in reading a thousand reviews, you can stop here and get this one. It's perfect.
