John T: UPDATED Review: To see my initial review, scroll to the bottom of this post. I have updated the review as of 11/13/23, to reflect my complete satisfaction with this product as well as admiration of the vendor's customer service. I was contacted by the vendor after my review posted and they offered to send me a replacement, which I gratefully accepted. On testing, the product performs very well on my home network and was trouble-free to plug in and start to use. Easy to recommend this product now that I have been able to use and test it. For its price, it is a great deal and performs very nicely. RECOMMENDED!

My initial review of this product was "This is a very fragile product. Likely would have been able to test it if I could plug it in while in a straight-on orientation, but my application required the antenna to articulate to 90 deg. The antenna dislocated from the hinge and then the antenna wire broke before I could get it reassembled. Disappointing. Great price though - would like to see if it actually works.:

Schilo: Wi-fi signal is good & it was easy to install. The only thing is I thought it was going to come with a CD to install the driver, as it stated in the description, but I didn't get it. Thankfully, the manual that it comes with directs you to a website to install the driver.

M. Clarke: The desktop computer using the wifi adapter is about 10 metres away from modem, so I decided to buy one with an antenna to ensure it connected and it had the higher speed signal you can connect to (which is just the same wifi name you connect to, but had 5G at the end of the name). Unfortunately it would not connect to the 5G signal and in fact did not even appear on the options to connect to. Another one had 4G, but signal strength was too low. Maybe I should have just bought the other one I was looking at that did not even have an antenna. I guess I'll never know. Oh, and by the way, my laptop connects fine 20 metres away in the backyard with its inbuilt wifi connection. So, I just don't know.

I. C. Thomas: The set up and range cover of this USB adapter antenna for PC is excellent. It came with clear, printed instructions with pictures covering how to download and install the driver and get it working.

Timo: After my internal wifi became unusable on my mini computer I purchased this and installed it. The installation was fairly straightforward, but I used the mini CD that was included so take note that you need a CD reader, one that is capable of accepting a mini size disc. (I would think you could conversely download the drivers but I didn't see that option given.) The installation took no more than a few minutes, afterwhich the wifi was completely functional. I've been using it for about a week with no dropouts or malfunctions. I would have preferred more bandwidth, say 300mbps+, but at this price range it wasn't available.
