Ecosoft Under-Sink Water Filtration System: Enjoy Clean, Refreshing Drinking Water at Home

Tekrytor: I gave 4 stars for ease of installation because working under the sink is never fun or easy to access. 5 stars would be if it were plug and play. The instructions were not perfect, but pretty good. Read the whole guide BEFORE starting to save frustration. The only things that were tricky and not really covered were getting the correct valve-adapter for my connections. Two sizes were included, but neither of those fit my pipes, so I ended up at the hardware store and found one that did fit. If you have a similar issue, I found my size in the store section for water filters, in the plumbing department, where similar filters are sold. They had one with the same exact size slip fittings for the plastic tubing and in my pipe sizes for the main supply line, perfect fit for $15, no adapters necessary. Sweet!
The other issue was that I wanted mine to come through the sink, not the counter. That way, if somebody forgets to turn it off, at least it's draining into the sink and not all over the counter and floor. Therefore, I had to drill a hole through my cast iron sink, which took a lot of time to drill through, starting with a small pilot hole and increasing the bit size incrementally...

Fort Paulson: First of all I want to say that installation seems like it could be tricky and require more parts than are included but if you have 1/2" PEX or 'flex' pipe which is standard in modern homes, simply read the 3rd review down from the top by Ken Steckelberg

He gives simple instructions, pictures, and a parts list to make the process painless and guess free. Thanks, Ken! It worked for me perfectly aside from a leak at the threads of one fitting which was caused by my inexperience with wrapping the threads with tape properly. Easily fixed. No problem.

Now for the product praise. I drink from a well on Texas black-land. The earth here is all clay with a hundred or so years of cow manure on top. I tested the water and it is clean, no coli-form bacteria, probably cleaner than city water. I also have an exterior sediment filter. However, the water didn't taste that great and little flakes of solids showed in it. This product was a home run. Problem solved! Tastes great and no more flakes in the drinking glass. My water tastes fancy now and we're all happy. 100% worth...

Alejandro Velazquez: I originally got this delivered missing a part and having one part broken and the hoses not fitting, and I returned them, the seller however contacted me and replaced the unit with a new one, completely sealed, all parts working and in perfect order. I love it, construction is superb and installation was a breeze (at Least for me since I had done this before , but don't let that stop you, you do not need to be a plumber to install this only have a wrench and pair of pliers and 20 minutes of your time ) the 3 filters are included and the replacements are sold by same seller at a excellent price. I honestly do not know why people pay more than they have to for water filters this unit is economical and works better than some of the so call name brands like royal prestige and delta.... save your money get quality item and enjoy clean pure water.. Buy this I recommend it
