DrProfDDL: I had an earlier version of this from another company; I was surprised to find this one looks and functions exactly the same. The prior one lasted 10 years. I don't expect that from this device, but the ease of use and not having to run out to turn off lights at 11 pm is a Godsend. Definitely recommend this product for the price.
