RBM: Battery seems fine. Charging so far from the solar panels. Bought a whole solar system with the battery included and then bought another battery for more capacity. Disappointed that both batteries did not come with the screws to connect wires to the battery like the ones shown in all the pictures.

Jeffrey Nance: I have used 2 of these batteries wired for 24 volts to run a 15 cubic foot freezer for 20 months. They stay charged with a 380 watt solar panel even on cloudy days. But specifically, these batteries perform very well in cold weather with insulation in the battery box.

Scott R.: I was looking for a nominal 20 Amp-hour battery to complement my sealed lead-acid that I've had for years. This was about twice the price of the same size and capacity SLA. Since I just got it, it's too soon to tell if it was worth it or not. I also picked up one of the small automatic chargers recommended by Amazon.

The first thing I noticed was how light it was. If you need to lug around batteries of this size, lithium is absolutely the way to go. I have a feeling they could make the battery even smaller, but the current package size is somewhat of a standard, so I can see why it is the size it is.

Time will tell if it was worth the price.

Stan B.: I was quite surprised at how light in weight these batteries are compared to the deep cycle batteries I was using in my boat. I'll be buying two more for my smaller 12' V-bottom boat. The smaller boat I have to really watch my weight as I load the boat and when I'm on lakes where I can only use an electric motor, I've had to lug a heavy deep cycle battery, These batteries were so light I carried 2 of them down at a time to my pontoon boat. I use one for the trolling motor and one for the anchor winch. I've been using them all summer so far and it's not died down as a regular deep cell battery would. I even had a problem one night with the gas engine not starting and I had to use the trolling motor to get the 24' pontoon boat back to dock. I would estimate that I've used the trolling battery for about 18 hours so far and it still powers my trolling motor as it did when I had it fully charged. I did read that I could hook the two together in either series or parallel, I suggest reading up online on the advantages and disadvantages of both hookups. Next summer I think I'll buy 2 more and hook 2 in parallel to each of my devices and see if I can make it through the summer. I also...
