Jill Park: These are very exfoliating, nice long washing towels. I wanted to try these because I use the regular ones from earth therapeutics and thought I would try the charcoal ones. So the first time I was washing with it, I noticed a particularly gross smell, but then I realized oh its doing its job! The gross smell was the charcoal absorbing the grim on my body so if you read the reviews posted by others, people are saying the smell takes a while to get out...which I am guessing it the charcoals absorbency wearing out. It was only really strong the first time I used it. So up to you on if you wanna deal with that or not but I thought I would say something about it because I do believe it is the charcoals efficient nature that's absorbing the smells and making it clear that you stink! haha
