Sierra: I was hoping to get the ones that looked like a slice, but they sold out before I could get them so I ended up with the full size one. And I am super happy with the size. They come compressed flat. I just ran mine under the tub faucet and squeezed it a couple times and it puffed up to normal. To me it doesn’t feel too scratchy. Feels like a fresh plastic loofah. I like that it’s not like other loofahs where they’re stiff, this one molds to your body and lathers up really well. I love that they’re natural and biodegradable. Win win in my book.

CLK: Absolutely adore this sponge! It exfoliates beautifully and dries like a dream.
Only negative is that the hanging string is long and I have to hold it while I wash so it doesn’t slap me. The tag on the end of that rope has “sharp” corners that are also annoying—easy fix to just cut off.

Lily: It's nice to have a natural product. I'm not sure if it's the loofah or the soap I'm using, but I often have to use a lot of soap to get it sudsy. The product itself is medium firmness. It's not super soft, it's not super stiff, it feels exfoliating and I would not recommend applying pressure at all when your scrubbing your body (you don't even need to scrub). Especially around the breasts, I recommend not using this around the breasts so it doesn't scratch the delicate skin. But for the body to properly exfoliate, and having keratosis pilaris (chicken skin) this is helpful to exfoliate. I usually feel so clean after the shower. It takes a bit to soften. Mine arrived with some volume, it wasn't flat, unlike other reviews and easy to puff up. It takes a few minutes for it to get soft and wet under the water, so there is a bit of a prep for the loofah, follow their instructions. It REALLY lasts a long time, I've had this loofah for a few months now and I'm still on the first one. Its staying clean (although it does easily collect hair due to the texture, just make sure to pull your hair out), it's not gunky at all and it's really easy to use. Thomason III: I've used various cheap plastic loofahs for years - I stopped buying the smaller puff ones a long time ago because they'd fall apart in about a month and I switched to the longer rope style. Those I might get 2-3 months out of, but they also stretched out substantially during that time. Still they were cheap enough, so whatever.
These are expensive, but they are a -way- better value, because they seem to last forever. I used one for 6 months and finally only swapped it out because I started to think that after 6 months I could justify a replacement and maybe it was getting gross (note - that was all in my head, there was no indication of damage or mold or soap build up or anything), and now I'm 6 months into my second one with the third still unopened in the drawer. These things just last forever.
AND you couple it with the fact that they're just natural fibers that can decompose and not garbage plastic that's just going to end up in a landfill and it's that much better.

It's very big--bigger than expected--but good to use. It allows me to reach almost my entire back, which is fine even though I also just bought a scrubber on a stick for that purpose.

AMJ: I guess those are for the bathtub (which i dont have). Way to big for me and way to scratchy, but its probably just my skin since others had different reviews. It's still a good buy if you don't mind the roughness, also got a free small lofa pad for face. Thank you for that.
