Satisfied Customer: The best thing about this beater is the adjustability, from the angle, to the weight of the head.
Plus, in my opinion, you can’t go wrong with DW.

Rachel-Liz Anderson: Kind of pricey, but worth it IMO. The ability to quickly change the amount of weight in the head of the beater along with the surface type is very handy.
For me it seems like 2 of the weights is the sweet spot.
Using them with the pdp concept series double pedal(chain drive), and though I don’t like the pedals themselves, I love these beaters.

Jason Statham: I used to have a felt/oval beater that worked well for my "stomping" style of playing the kick. Once I started playing heel down and developing more dynamic range I switched to this beater and it is excellent. Articulates super well especially on doubles.

Preis OK. Benutzt wird auf eine DW MDD Pedale.

Francois Ansell: Went through a couple of base drum skin with a felt pedal. The rubber prevent the wear.

Clifton Flint: Thought it would be lighter with less noise than my current beater being used on my electric Roland TD4, however overall pleased with the improvement in noise reduction living in a condominium.

Jonathan Lord: I’ve tried a lot of different options but this one is the one I settled on. The four brass weights are a really really nice touch, and I ended up using three of them to get the feel that suited me. I even experimented with leaving out one at the top of the cluster Vs the bottom and there was an ever so subtle change in feel!!
Definitely worth trying to see if this matches your playing style and touch.
