My only quibble (very minor) is that the petcock shutoff valve closest to the tank can be a tight fit if the shutoff valve isn't aligned to give the most clearance from the valve on the hose end. Recommended.

Christian P.: I freaking hate it when I’m about to mow and what do you know, the gas can is empty and the guy who used the mower last didn’t have time to go get some more fuel for next time…. This makes that problem less frequent, and I get along with myself slightly better for it. LOL.
The fitting at the bottom had to be tightened more than I would’ve liked, but after an extra 1/4 turn past what I thought would be sufficiently tight, it doesn’t leak. The nozzle seems cheap, but it hasn’t broken and works as designed. In a world where we can’t be trusted with an old school simple gas can, this definitely beats the new age safety dispensers.

I will either need another one shipped, or a refund of half the purchase price.

L. Smith: Upgraded my review from 3-star to 4-star, due to the customer service
Bought this in September 2022, I mow a large patch of land and usually have to put 2 tanks in the mower each time I mow. Bought this thinking it would be much easier to use than the 3-5gal cans I had been using and more portable than the 30gal steel drums I typically use on a gravity fill setup.
The good: the tank itself, is air/liquid tight and well made. Haven't had issues with it deforming and wheels coming off like others have reported yet. with the handle and finger grips, I don't have much trouble loading and unloading it, even when full (I am a big guy). If you leave it in the sun while mowing then you can get pretty good flow rate from the pressure before venting
The Bad: the hose kinks very easily, especially at the end where it screws to the tank, just as others had reported. For as much as these cost, you'd think they'd fix such a common issue, but no luck. Siphon/gravity is slow unless pressurized either through natural heating or artificial pressure (some have added tire valves and pump to 1-2psi). The handle has no hold open so unless you want to sit for several minutes (slow fill rate)...

Brett Cole: I really like the design, convenience and safety features. However, my wife just saw the exact same unit for $50 cheaper at a local store. Then , at a local wholesale store, a slightly scratched one was close to $100 cheaper. Defn frustrated by that, but alas...these things happen.

Michael Ayers: I'm really glad I bought this. I use it to fill my riding mower and push mower. It was easy to fill at the gas station. I only filled it to 10 gallons the very first time to make sure I could lift it easily into the back of my SUV (the instructions said it should be taken out of the vehicle and placed lying down on the ground to fill - which seems like a good idea). I had no problem hefting it up into the car, but, especially if filled to max, I could see how some smaller folks might have a harder time (I'm 6 feet tall). So, if you can't lift 14 gallons of fluid by yourself, either don't fill it all the way, or take someone with you to help you.
I have no problem using it, either. Loosen the air/vent valve, and open the two ball valves at the bottom (one for the tank, the other for the hose). As another reviewer said, it's easier if you lay it on its back to do this, then stand it up. Takes all of ten seconds. Simply reverse the process when you're done to get it ready to store. You might want to close the ball valves first, then finish pumping out whatever small amount might still be in the hose itself.
You do have to actually pump the handle, which does require...

Edward Dennis: All considered this fuel tank works well. It's a little slow because it is gravity feed. Just set the tank on something higher than the tank you're filling. I use a piece of rope and tie my hand nozzle in the open position then use the ball valve to regulate the flow. The hand nozzle has no lock feature and the flow is slow enough that you won't care to hold it open that long. Just use common sense. Beats the heck out of pulling my boat or WaveRunner from the lake to get normal priced fuel.
