Johnny Roebuck: I ordered this item and was sent four 2-packs instead of the 8-pack in the product photo and all of them were dated 2016, so there IS no 5-year life as shown in the photo.
Nowhere did I see in the item description that the batteries were produced in 2016.

Chris Cavalieri, PCC, CDTLF: As one would expect, great batteries. The packaging though is troubling. Once I gained access I had to use a clip to close it back up, otherwise they slide around laying sideways or fall out. Not a big deal until you realize the terminals make contact with the neighboring battery’s metal casing, causing a short that could discharge.
