Someone Else: How does one review a battery? It's just a battery. Do you need 9-volt batteries? Yes? Well, then you won't be disappointed. Best Duracell batteries I have ever purchased online, from Amazon, in 2023, that arrived fully charged, still in original packaging, and that came in a convenient 4-pack. I needed more than three, but buying five would have been a waste of money. The four-pack hit the sweet spot. I'd write more, but I can't wait to get back to using these fine, wonderful batteries.

S: These are excellent batteries, I use them in my alarm clock as a backup if the power goes out. I will purchase more as I need them. I had bought a car battery from Advance in Hartselle, Al., and needed another battery so I went back to Advance Auto supplies, but they had quit selling Advance batteries. I ended up having to buy a Die Heart battery for my car, I told the salesperson the last Die Heart I had purchased, it had only lasted 3 months. I wouldnt be going back to Advance when I need another car battery.

Lauren Fuller: I geeked out and did a bunch of digging to figure out which battery is the best price. I found someone geeked our way more than I did, and figured it all out with an experiment that would’ve won the science fair! Basically, battery price matches battery life. So they’re really all about the same if you’re talking battery life to dollars. BUT, Duracell (while generally being the most expensive) lasts the longest. So, why don’t you buy the longest lasting ones, so you don’t have to change them as often? Unless of course you like being woken up by screaming smoke detectors at 2am more than once or twice a year… plus, in using less, you’ll keep more battery acid out of the environment, win win!

MSmomMSmom: Like these were purchased from the Duracell Store, I also order batteries from the Energizer Store & have been extremely pleased with the products.

The only difference (other than price) in getting from somewhere else is that the manufacture date is a bit older on these. However, the battery & shelf life is at least 5 years so it's not an issue for me as I go through batteries prettyquickly, especially AA & AAA sizes. The manufacture date on these 9Vs is 2021 which is actually the closest to current year that I've ever gotten...only two years old. They are guaranteed for five years so they're fine. I don't use as many 9Vs which is why I only ordered a 4 pack.

So basically I always order batteries from either the Energizer Store or the Duracell Store depending on who's got the lowest price at the time. I plan on continuing to do this as it's so much more economical than buying at a store or even purchasing through other sellers on Amazon.

Would highly recommend these batteries & their seller.

silverfox: Original fire alarm battery lasted 5 years ! no point looking for cheaper alternatives. No brainer when it comes to household safety, particularly fire alarms.
