Jeff's: I bought these to use in our HOA timer controllers for sprinkler systems in the neighborhood. They only take rechargeable 9v batteries as power backup so we don’t lose the timer settings when there is a power outage. These should last us 8 to 10 years before we even think of needing to replace them.

Tom: Needed something to power a "dog bark deterrent" ultrasonic box. It's steady drain so I wanted to try a rechargeable battery. Unfortunately, the capacity of these cells is just too small. They last less than a week. My fault really for not doing the math, but physics limits just how much can go in these tiny cells. I tried a lithium cell intead, with a stated capacity of four times as much as it's been serviceable, requiring charging every few weeks.

Also noticed the choices for return of the batteries didn’t offer taking the return to the UPS Store which would of been very helpful.
