D WHITMAN: The product was fine but the packaging was poor. When I picked up the rather large box for such a small product I could hear battery's sliding around inside. There was no packing inside the main cardboard box and the battery box had come open and most of them were just bumping around and the protective plastic safety caps had fallen off. Under certain conditions this could have caused a shorting if the terminals thus possibly a truck or front porch fire.
