Sydney Sydney : I can’t believe how much detail is fit into this, it’s only the 1.5” option and I’m blown away! I have never touched a branding iron before and it only took me a few practice burns to get the hang of it. I can’t express how happy I am with this product and that I’m able to actually make my vision possible for our save the dates. I even asked for the extra detail of our date and it still showed up early, so so so pleased and appreciative to the artist!!! Just get it :)

Pied Mutant: Just need to heat it for a couple of minutes with a propane torch and there you go, you can brand your creations or property. Leterring very neat, came like I ordered...name and font.

ScholarlyBeardScholarlyBeard: I was able to get a very crisp brand stamp with 34 letters on only a 1.5” brand. They followed my direction recommendations to a T.

After reviewing others feedback I doubted it was possible and worried I’d made a mistake - but I am exceedingly happy with the quality and will likely order different sizes to mix and match according to the project size.

For reference, the “Word & Wood” part amounts to about a size 14 Times New Roman font and the “Handcrafted in” is a size 10 font, and “Columbus, OH” is a size 12 font. Notably these might vary with more or less letters - but impressed it stamped as well.

I did press it on some practice pine first using a jet torch to heat it up for approximately 60-90 seconds and stamping a few tests to get the temperature just right. Applied finish only after stamping on the final piece, would not recommend stamping a finished piece.

mm user: The product was of decent quality and everything was as expected. Works great! Shipping was even quicker than I expected. But they deleted my last name from the brand. I'm not sure why it was deleted, there was plenty of room below my first name and would've still been within the 1" x 1" parameters specified. Nor was I contacted regarding a modification. Dissatisfied.

Update: Seller contacted me and worked out a corrected replacement. I will update this review when it arrives.

Update 2: Received replacement. It is as agreed to in my conversation with the seller. Thank you for correcting the problem. I am satisfied with this purchase and seller.

James C from PG, Canada: When I received the product (I ordered the 1.5 x1.5) it looked like it was way to small to work properly and show up the image. I was totally wrong. The image transferred wonderfully! In fact perfectly! Just make sure you heat up the brass more than you think you will need too , then apply with a little pressure and you will be very happy with the results! The image is exactly as you see in the pictures. When you order you just contact Amy and give them the information you want put on the unit. They will send you an e- mail to confirm those details. Also I received the order in a timely fashion. Great product that is good quality and works very well. Fantastic really.

LauraLaura: This product is great. The stamp is very precisely reproduced from the image I submitted. The handle is easily assembled to the stamp and is well built. It blows me away that a product like this can be made for such little money.

I used the stamp on pine wood in the photos I submitted. This is the first time I used it to test it out. I heated the stamp using the exposed burner on my propane grill, because I didn't want to take the time to find my torch. It heated in a minute or less and I stamped this piece of wood at least 14 times with clear results before it got too cool to effectively mark the wood. I held it to the wood ranging from times of 1 to 3 seconds. I initially started longer and then reduced the time to see if it would still work. The burnt image varies in clarity in the photos as a result. I think the best results came after a few stamps and holding it to the wood for only about 1.5 seconds. I suspect that would vary based on wood species due to color and density differences.

When I go to use this on my actual projects, I will have a piece of scrap wood of the same specie and surface finish. I will heat the stamp...
