Maureen D: No idea how this works on windows, but it's a really light-weight, durable footprint/ground cloth for backpacking. I've been using the same piece for about 5 years, and it's still going strong. Just bought more for my new one person UL tent.

BPenny: Last year, we used a 3M product but this year decided to try something cheaper. This Duck brand film does not shrink as much or as easily as the 3M product, making it more difficult to remove wrinkles and obtain an undistorted image. One must hold the heat source much closer to the film than with the 3M product, which increases the chances of melting holes in the film. Also the double sided tape did not stick as well and has released in one area (sticking onto anodized aluminum) and had to reapply a new section of tape.
Bottom line, next year we will go back to 3M.

M. Taylor: I disliked that I had to measure but once cut to size I could install easily. My house stayed a comfortable temperature and no wind coming through windows and another benefit it also keeps the bugs from coming in the windows. The plastic stuck to the tape.

Ryan: If you have old jalousie windows and want to seal them during hurricanes, buy this!
Tested product by only sealing one room; the air is completely dry in sealed room compared to unsealed room. Woohoo!!

Ralph: This was great except for the fact that I had to buy a separate two sided adhesive for it. The one it came with simply would not hold up. I installed this during winter and it actually has held it up since.

I have very old large windows it was enough to do two, left over not enough
But I'm happy
