I cannot speak highly enough about these. Great price and great quality. I have a need to drill through quite a lot of glass containers for my business and up until I got these it has been a chore. These cut through the glass like butter. I'm talking 1-2 minutes for a 1/4" thick glass piece. Before this I had the rotozip diamond bit since it was the only one I could find in stores and I thought I was destined to drill holes for 20+ minutes each forever. One day I got really sick of it and did some quick research and found these highly rates bad boys and I'm never going back.
I only received them today but so far I have drilled 31 pieces with the same drill bit and even if that's all I get out of it, it's still a steal. Especially considering that the rotozip bit was $35 for just the one and these are ~$15 for 5.
Seriously do your self a favor and get these.
Also my setup is a drill press and I do all my drilling on water (obviously) but there are pictures included in case you need some help on that. I just have a cheapo 8" drill press from menards and these work great. My speed is set at 1530 rpm and I have had no problems with that yet. Definitely get...

JAC: I was wary of cutting into the base of an old ceramic Christmas tree my grandmother made many years ago and now my elderly mother has. The old light fixture was in bad shape and looked to be a fire hazard. The new light fixture needed a bigger hole. EEK. I read lots of reviews and went for it. I used the water bath as recommended and set up my drill press. Using a very light touch and pausing to check it often (paranoia) it worked really well. There seems to be plenty of grit left on the bit. This filled a gap in my tool selection that I didn't know I had.

T. RobertsonT. Robertson: Works great! I used the largest bit to drill drainage holes in the bottom of 4 plant pots (3 ceramic, 1 gray terra-cotta). To keep the drill bit cool and clean I poured a small amount of water where I was going to drill, then surrounded the area with a few ice cubes, which melted while I drilled so I didn't need to add more water. Holding the drill at about a 45 degree angle, I turned it on and pressed it lightly to the surface while holding the pot steady. After about 30 seconds of keeping it in the same place it had drilled a semi-circular shallow groove. I was then able to start moving the drill more towards a right angle with the surface, without it jumping around, in order to drill a full circle. Heavy pressure wasn't necessary, just enough to keep it steady and pressed against the surface. Each hole took about 3 minutes to drill through. After using it with cool water for 4 holes, I don't see much, if any, wear and tear on the diamond edge in comparison to the unused bits. See photos for more details.

Jared Ulrikson: I used only one of these bits, i needed to drill through a newly tiled wall to mount a tv, this was 1/4 inch thick tile and 1/2in cement board, i thought it was going to be a pain but this made it nice and easy. Using a spray bottle to keep it cool it went right through both materials. Clearing the material out of the bit probably took the longest.Getting it started was not a problem either i had a piece of 1x1 that i drilled a hole just large enough for bit to fit through in at the point where i needed the top holes for the mount to be from the top of the wall, i then put the top of that 1x1 against the ceiling and got my holes started using the guide hole in the wood, that also allowed me to have both holes at the exact same height without having to do a lot of measuring to make sure it was level.
