Aurora7: This is a great bit set. I used mine for drilling plant pot drainage holes. The selection of drill bits is perfect. The set is packaged wonderfully as it also includes a template. I found the template to be very helpful for containing the water needed to keep everything cool, but also to help keep the drill bit in place, particularly for the initial drilling. My daughter was here when I was doing the drilling and got excited that now she could use my set too! Yes, this set will definitely be used again and again. Would highly recommend.

Angie and Mike: I purchased in January 2021 for $44. I actually needed 3 of the sizes that this 1 kit came with. I went to several tile shops, supply houses and looked online and I found that price of just ONE of their bits was more than this set. I figured worst case scenario, I would burn them up, finish the job and pitch them in the trash!
2 years later and I have absolutely punished these bits and they haven’t slowed down a bit!
I’ve used them on porcelain and ceramic tile, 2 granite countertops and the ultimate torture test was drilling through 3/4 granite tiles. I needed 4 inch round holes that kept cracking when trying to use a grinder. I decided to use these bits to drill multiple holes to make the 4” hole and it worked great!
You can use the foam backing pad that holds the bits to CENTER it since the bit itself doesn’t have a centering bit. Get the hole started by holding the foam piece with one hand, fill it with water to keep the bit cool, then start the bit slowly with the other hand. I used a Dewalt battery drill and they worked great. I do keep them cool with water and low RPM’s while using them. I’ve even let a friend borrow them and they are still good.

Shane Miles: Having used a few brands of these bits before I decided to pay a little more for this set however they aren't well made with poor grip to your chosen drilling device. Onnfirstbuse under cooling conditions I wore the bit out before breaching 4mm of glass. Very disappointed.

MichaelMichael: I purchased this hole saw set for a bathroom tile project, I needed it give me a few clean cut penatraions through porcelain tile for clawfoot tub supply and drain lines. Im a homeowner I wasnt intrested in longevity or repat use really so I gave this set a try. I believe another customer review involved the use of a prefabricated "template" or Jig to assure alignment and stability while cutting so my plan was to do the same. Unlike traditional hole saws there is NO PILOT bit to guide you, in my opinion some type of template is a must, freehanding seems impossible. It performed perfectly, I also powered through the Hardie Board subfloor, below that is an old wood floor so of course I switched to a wood bit for that final layer. The bit heated up a bit and shed some of the chrome coating but I was very pleased with the results, I offer these pics to illistrate. I also grabbed for the bits to help bore out the ID of a 1 1/2" PVC pipe fitting in desperation I needed a male adapter to work as a trap adapter. I was shocked when I pulled this off,( I didnt learn that trick in plumbing school). The bits work with an abbrasive cutting edge, the case that it comes with is pretty handy it...

Balaji V: With a lot of doubt and very narrow expectation I bought this one. Basically I scoped to drill just 2 holes of the largest size and be done with it, if it fails.

To my sweet surprise, this thing worked more than I expected. I was able to use almost all the drill bits for our bathroom renovation! Based on the first success, we even extended the tiles all the way to the ceiling. Because now we can easily drill holes for each purpose!!

1. I drilled holes into a 1/4 inch porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles
2. I had drill holes for the 1/2 inch water outlets, shower outlets, electrical conduits, screw holes for shelves
3. Which means, I had use same bit more than twice/thrice

Im not a professional but here are few things I have observed.

Things to remember
1. ALWAYS use water. Dry drilling is not healthy to the bit and causes a lot of dust and sparks.
2. Use the foam thats provided as a guide. Improves accuracy of the hole by a 1000% and reduces slippage!
3. Start slowly. Set your drill to its lowest speed and with very light pressure. Allow the bit to make scour marks on the tile first. Ofcourse hold the foam tighter!!
