Andrew CAndrew C: Great value for a pack of 2 emergency lighters (I bought 2 sets ie. 4 lighters total). I really appreciated the extra flints and wick, I like the included add-on clips (because I'm not big on ball-chains) and I really like the additional green rings. Those are thicker/seal better than the original skinny little black o-rings; just roll the black one up and off and roll on the green one as in my photo. Still amazed at 2 great lighters for $9.

R. Williams: I love the look, the size and the color. Don't love that fuel evaporates very fast, cap doesn't screw on tightly. Lost the bottom on one (the actual lighter)the first day. 2nd one I don't dare attach to outside of bag.

William Sawyer: I have several of these that I pack in my bags. You can never have to many ways to start a fire and these are perfect size for a keychain. I will admit that this silver style doesn't hold the fluid like the brass ones. My brass one on my keychain hasn't needed refills in months. These you need to check on them. Not sure why. Maybe the rubber ring? Anyhow, these little lights might help you if you need fire but don't smoke and don't want to carry a bic.

Amazon Customer: So I give this 2 stars because you do get a lot of value for the price. The extra flints and wicks etc. However its not the rust or whatever that makes these lighters weak. Its how tightly the main cylinder fits against the the tube.

Look at the pictures to understand. To fill the lighter or any zippo you pull the inner core out fill it upside down then replace it creating a cotton socked resivoir. However to reduce leakage its necessary to make the side walls as flush to the lighter base as possible. Some leakage will ALWAYS happen with wick lighters. Thats where the rubber o ring comes into play when keeping it from leaking in your pocket. However that doesnt stop it from leaking out into the cap. When I open the lighter fluid gets all over my hands and the thing drains after a few days without even being lit.

Some fluid is bound to leak regardless unless you always keep it upright and never lay it on its side. However I have had other versions that didnt have this issue nearly as much. I normally wouldnt drop off so many stars but this is the most critical part of the lighter. In fact the core fits so poorly im fairly certain that they werent actually built for...

Bondebond: UPDATE: After a few months of being on my keychain, the first lighter sort of just fell apart. The threads that holds the lighter in the cap and therefore on my keychain have weakened to the point they barely hold on. The lighter body just randomly falls away which probably lead to the second issue.

The second issue is that the top of the lighter that holds the spark generator and wick has broken loose from the inner wall body. You can press-fit it back together - for a bit. It then comes apart again in the future as the thin wall has stretched.

Good thing there are two of these. Here's hoping the second one lasts longer than the first. Dropped to 3 stars.

The Dreambay 2 pack was the closest and also least expensive replacement I could find. I appreciate that it is a 2 pack as being part of my EDC wears most things out after a few years.
