KerriH: I have used this little guy for 4 years. He tells us the exact water temp, and flashes red if the temp is 100 or higher. Just soak the bottom in a bleach mix every now and then to keep mold free, like all of your other bath toys.

KatyH: This thermometer works as intended, and provides peace of mind for me as a new mother. I can feel confident that my baby's bath water is a safe and comfortable temperature.
I did see other reviews that some units are top heavy and don't stay upright in the water, but that's not the case with the alligator. Works great!

JP A: I love this little duckie! It helps me regulate my baby's bath water so that it's warm but not too hot, and not too cold.

The temperature appears quickly and it's easy to read. I keep this in the bath for the entire duration so that I can take baby out when the water cools off too much.

It floats on the water and baby can play with it. It makes bath time both practical and fun.

Tip: dip a washcloth in the bath water and put it on your baby's chest during the bath to keep baby warm. Wet it every now and then so that it doesn't dry out.

This thermometer is definitely a must have for baby's baths!

Claire: Essential for us as we can’t seem to detect temperature very well. Our baby seems to like her bath water to be around 25 degrees.

PandaPanda: The Dreambaby thermometer duck is a useful accompaniment for that sea swimming middle aged woman cliché.

Crispy, as he is called, gives a better reading after being forcibly held under water for a couple of minutes which does seem a little cruel but needs must and all that. His temperature readings are similar to the other thermometers we have within the swimming gang, but on average maybe he runs a little bit (1’C) higher.

I was disappointed that Crispy’s temperature reading in ‘C does not include a decimal point so I’ve dropped a star for that as the product photos suggested otherwise but all in all, Crispy hasn’t filled with water, broken or escaped from being tied to my tow float after several weeks of sea bobbing, so he’s not doing too badly.
