Camelia: my cats are fussy about supplements, food, etc. but they all like this one! And the best part is that it is helping them with their digestion. They used to vomit often, right after eating. The vomiting stopped since I added these enzymes to their food.
I use 1/2 the recommended dosage and sprinkle on top of their food. I use it in all their meals.

Eleni SA.: We have been using a pinch of this over Bengal's wet food daily for 3+ years along with mixed kibbles including Sensitive. With this blend he is in optimal health after a bad start at 7 months when he came to us with severely upset digestive system. We also prefer this product as it doesn't harden in the jar like one of the others we tried.

M. Johnson: This has helped my 17 year old Siamese cat so much! She was recently diagnosed with early renal disease. Because of this we changed her food to be kidney friendly, but she just wasn’t eating enough, and her appetite disappeared. She also seemed to be vomiting more and losing weight. I tried so many different foods to see if they would help, but she continued to lose weight. Concerned we took her back to the vet, and they did blood work again, but surprisingly her kidney numbers had actually improved, mostly back to normal! It was great, but I still didn’t understand why she would barely eat and still vomited regularly, so her symptoms didn’t really match up with her blood work. Frustrated with getting no answers, I was doing some research online and stumbled across these digestive enzymes with probiotics. Reviews seemed good, so I figured what have we got to lose! It’s been 9 days since I started the enzymes, and she is eating so much better, and no longer vomiting! She doesn’t like to eat very big portions of wet food at a time, so I usually give her about a tablespoon of food at a time, and I did the math on the enzymes, which comes out to 1/32 tsp per tablespoon. I...

Amazon Customer: I'll gladly add another positive review for Dr. Goodpet Feline Digestive Enzymes.

Our indoor 3-year-old cat kept yacking up her pricey dry food. We had accidentally changed the flavor slightly (wrong bag). This made us curious, as she also had been sniffing all our food (she's a cat, she is weird). When she sniffed it, almost without exception, she would gag, even with foods I thought cats loved, and would never eat it. She even turned down ice cream, milk from cereal (yes I know cats are not supposed to have milk - we never give it to her voluntarily).

A quick internet check gave us a veterinary site where the vet said indoor cats can get very sensitive stomachs over time by eating exactly the same food every day, no matter how expensive or well-balanced. She recommended digestive enzymes be added to the cat's food or water. Our cat would not touch a brand I bought here and added to her water. I found her licking condensed water off our windows, bathtub, etc. so had to ditch that one.

After searching here on Amazon, this product was our last hope before spending money on an actual, off schedule, vet visit. At first she was grumpy about the new taste (she has...

JJ D.: I was giving this to my cat for constant problems with digestion and vomiting. My cat is hyperthyroid and always needed to eat grass to calm her stomach. I was told by her vet that this problem is common in hyperthyroid cats. The constant vomiting and lack of appetite was ruining her teeth and health in general. Initially this supplement worked wonders. My cat had a better appetite, didn't need to eat grass and was finally putting on some weight. She was on this for about a month and I noticed she was starting to have problems. She started having problems with a fungus growing on her face, under her nose where she licks her mouth, also her gums became inflamed again. Initially the gum inflammation went away when I put her on this product. Also she became more itchy, itchy ears and goopy eyes. I believe the added acidolphilus caused an imbalance in her ph causing the fungal issues. I switched her to just plain digestive enzymes and the fungal problems began to go away.
My recommendation would to be careful. The acidolphilus is not always needed and could cause more harm than good.
