Booda: Yes, the bags are still plastic, but if you consider that you’re not throwing away the disposable plastic contraption the Genie or off brands use that only give you a limited number of bags, it’s a serious impact.

Amazon Customer: This is a great find! It replaced the expensive refill cartridge. I use standard 13 gal waste bags. Wrap the open end down around this adaptor is and place as you would a refill cartridge. Or you can buy refill bags to go with it. We haved used this for a a couple weeks. It is perfect replacement for expensive cartridge refills.

Charlie E: Bought this as what looked like an attractive alternative to the original purchase. Waiting to get through a roll of original design before mounting this. Will come back after use to update.
EDIT: FINALLY got around to using it. I will never go back to the original unless forced. This is 1,000% easier to deal with. Changing out the bag went from a tedious 15 minutes down to maybe 2 + no more wondering where the end of that insert is. Bottom is seamed so no having to tie that off to start the process.1st time I loaded it up took an extra minute looking it over reading the instruction sheet. Thought to myself, it can't be that easy. Yes. It can be. Now I have to go back in to purchase one for each litter box.

Miss L.: Litter genie XL bin ordered from Amazon . Came from US as not sold in UK. Perfect. This adapter however DOES NOT FIT . I tried cutting it down with craft knife as it was very expensive. Threw it in the bin! Do not buy!
