Amazon Customer: I was able to put this together by myself up until it was time to stack them. I love when I can do it myself because my husband works til 530 and I'm impatient. I didn't even need to look at the instructions because the whole bed made sense on how it went together (I do have a ton of woodworking experience so I usually don't need instructions) but would recommend checking them out anyway, I'm a bad example. The only thing bad is when my daughter wants me to lay with her it's hard to crawl in and out because she has one of those roll wall things to keep her from comming out. Or when we have had certain fosters they don't understand they can't sit up without hitting their head. But seriously this bed and trundle is awesome and is a great thing to have, it helps make fostering a breeze without taking up a lot of room and was the best price for any beds with trundle that we found. Shipping was incredibly fast as well.

Margaret Marie: Arrived before expected. Main box was busted up on both ends and pieces were sliding out of it. Some pieces scuffed up. However, we were in a bind and needed the bed like NOW so we kept the bed. All pieces were there, assembly went well and easy, sturdiness is good and value for the money is great. Grandchildren love the bed! It is only 5ft 2" in height which makes it awesome! Pretty bed! Packaging just left much to be desired. I recommend the bed as long as the packaging is in tack.

Kindle Customer:
The bed arrive much sooner than expected, however the hardware was missing. I called the company, instead of amazon right away. I was very surprised that I got an answer from a real person right away! The customer service processed my request and new hardware was shipped right away. By the time I have the whole bed the arrival time was the one I initially was expecting.
The bed is very nice looking and sturdy. However just comparing the weight of this bed with the one I have from Rooms to Go I can tell the quality is inferior. With that said, a similar bed in Rooms to GO was 3 to 4 times the price. Therefore, I feel very happy with this purchase. I believe this bed will last a long time too.
Assemble was not very difficult. I am not handy at all and it took me several hours ( I did it in two different days) The pictures can be a bit confusing for someone like me with no experience in this type of task. The tool provide is not ideal. I will definitely recommend have a good screwdriver with the right head.
Overall I think this is a good product for the price.

rj:
pros
- great price, hard to beat for a bunk bed with trundle
- looks great
- lots of fun for kids
- completely solid pine, no MDF garbage unlike ones you get at Ikea
- the trundle slides out nicely and provides extra sleeping area; you can use it as storage instead if you like
cons
- assembly can be difficult unless you're handy, make sure you read instructions and use the right screws for each part they tell you; I messed up and had to redo some of the screws twice, was my own fault, they look similar, not fool proof; can easily take 4hrs to unpack and assemble esp if 1 person to do all work
- some smell from the finish, can take 3d+ to clear
- the 4 post rods for stacking the beds look cheap, it's just wood pegs, not metal rods which is standard at least in the old days it was; this is my main criticism of the bed; I would rather pay more for it to come with metal rods. I added metal brackets to add extra support to all ends of each rail on upper bed and where 4 posts join with lower headboard; this stabilize the bed esp since both my kids want to play at upper bed same time; you're not supposed to have more than 1 child on...

mommyof3: This bed looked great when we first set it up but I guess you get what you pay for. The top bed wooden slats broke after 1 year use while my daughter was seeing on it. My super petite 9 year old slept on it and the slats broke in the middle of the night waking my 7 yr old who thought the bed was falling on her. Luckily the slats are connected to fabric so it didn’t actually fall on her. The bottom full bed slats broke also when my 12 year old was getting up. (She sleeps in another room but was laying with her little sister reading her a book) Had to throw away the top bed. Still using the bottom because I was able to tape together the slats that broke but cannot recommend this bed. Too cheap materials for it to be a safe bunk.
