E Simpson: I take these capsules not so much for weight loss (that hasn't happened, but my eating habits don't help & these are not a magic bullet) but for blood sugar regulation and hopefully lower cholesterol levels. They smell like ACV but since I take them with other things & swallow (no dissolving them in the mouth for this person-gack), there is no taste. They are easy to swallow, at least with the coffee I drink with them. IMO, they are not thick - about the same size as a liquigel ibuprofen. I have no problem taking them and several other supplements at the same time with a swallow of coffee (usually) or water (sometimes).

Amazonaholic: I bought these to see if they would help lower my glucose. I ate the same meal 2 days in a row and measured my glucose in 15 minute intervals, beginning at 45 minutes. On the second day, I took 2 of these ACV capsules at the start of my meal. Exercise levels were identical both days. On day 2, my glucose peak was 40 points lower and 45 minutes earlier than on day 1. I was very happy to see these results, so I ordered 3 more bottles. Unfortunately, these bottles didn't seem to be as fresh as the first bottle I had. These capsules smelled strongly of plastic, whereas the first bottle had no smell. I'm guessing maybe they were stored too long in a hot warehouse and the plastic from the bottle leached into the capsules? I checked the other 2 bottles and they had the same smell. I took them out of the bottle and put them in a bowl to air them out, and some of the smell dissipated. They still had a bit of funny taste and smell. Decided to try my test again, so took 2 capsules and ate the same meal as before. My glucose did not peak early as it did before, and was only 20 points lower than without the ACV pills. So the plastic-tainted capsules are definitely less effective than the first...
