DIY Wood Burning Marker Pen - 5ARTH Chemical Woodburning Tool for Wood Painting

cBurgessc: Purchased this for a woodworking project. I was going to trace the kids hands and have everyone write their name. Came out 50/50. The liquid really bled into the Pine and ended up getting a bit messy in some places. However, when I added the heat gun it did burn into the wood. Perhaps using this on a harder, less fibrous wood, would have better results (oh, and don't let your kids any near - smear city - but that's my fault, not the products)

Maybe a stamp would be better than free hand, maybe a harder wood, maybe it was an ID10T error. I recommend this in principal but leave it up to you to make up your own mind. Good luck!

AJAJ: Just an fyi...love it! Easy to use. The only thing is when you use the marker, burn it right away. The wood will soak it up and my bleed into the grain, other then that...works great!

Jezreel Davis: I am a wood burner by trade. I ran into an issue with a piece and just needed a topical wide burn so I decided to check this marker out. It worked for what I needed. It did leak a little bit spilling some extra ink on my piece, but I was able to sand it off before adding heat. Other than the quirks of how the felt tip marker works it is a neat idea. This also works great to use on stamping.

For the amateur crafter or someone looking for a fun safe project to do with their kids I totally recommend this marker. I know I can see myself doing this with my little ones in the future until they're able to safely handle a burning tool.

Nikki 💜Nikki 💜: I have been looking into different crafts. I considered a wood burning tool as I love the look of it. I was to afraid to commit so I am psyched I found this neat pen as an alternative. It comes with a chisel tip and a round tip. Depending on the project you would pull it out and flip it over. I noticed it did bleed on the wood a bit but I think if I practiced I could make it perfect. It does exactly as described. Neat pen to have.

Mom in TNMom in TN: I wasn’t sure this would work as well as it did! Couldn’t believe it! It does bleed a little on pine, but I’m going to do a wood burned outline around the letters anyway. I’m getting more of these! And they seem to go a long way as well! I bought two, thinking it would take a lot more, but I can do a few of these on just the one pen! I’m very happy with it - found a new way to make my signs now 😊
