CynthiaCynthia: This book contains a great variety of beautiful designs, and many are quite intricate. They are different shapes and sizes, and so can be used for a variety of craft purposes. Each page tells you what objects the designs were found upon and the geographical location of where those objects were found. The publisher's note tells you a little about the history of Viking Design. This also makes a nice coloring book, whether or not you are into crafts. Overall, it makes a great addition to your library!

LadySeshiiriaLadySeshiiria: For the price this book is really great. The images are hd quality printed. The book isn't half bad for a paperback. There are a few quality problems on the print job (smearing) here and there with a few pages but the images are intact and it's mostly superficial. Like I said for the price this is a great book.

JJJRRR: Exceptional for the price. This is a very good reference selection for artists and even scholars, given the incredibly fair cost. I actually expected less period information, but every single design is identified by location, with frequent identification of year range as well. The design renderings are also quite good, given the price.
For anyone with even a passing interest in Norse and Viking artistry, this is an absolute steal. Yes, it is a graphic reproduction of more intricate metal and stone work, but for a $9 copy of those designs, this is beyond satisfactory. Highly recommended.

Amanda Nolai: I bought this book in hopes of finding I really unique design for a tattoo. I wanted something Nordic done because that is my heritage, and I found just the design. For all of you who have the book, or are planning on getting it, I will be getting the design of page 9. It's so great, I love it!
No complaints about the book, was in perfect condition, although it took a little longer to get than I expected. But it was well worth the wait.
