Amazon Customer: We have a lot of students that draw at school. I have made several book purchases for all the levels. Have to see how they do with this however, it is laid out nice and feel it will be a hit with the kids.

Cash BurnerCash Burner: I learned about this book after watching several videos on YouTube called "How to Draw the Marvel Way" hosted by Stan Lee and John Buscema. It all looked really interesting from the way they pitched it so I decided to buy the book to try and draw along. It turned out to be a lot of fun. I started out with shapes at first, then the details, then the stick figures in action, and then the actual figures. My drawings weren't that great and it's going to take a lot of practice. It might take a lot of patience if you're new to drawing like me but I definitely recommend checking it out!

John Rap: The media could not be loaded. If you're either already making comic books or you've watched more than a dozen videos on how to make comic books, then everything in this book will either be redundant and/or outdated. But you know what? You've probably already heard everything in the Bible, and it still sells millions of copies per year.
How To Draw Comics The Marvel Way is a foundational book in the comics industry. Everyone has read it. Maybe you should too. Even if you aren't going to make comic books, if you're going to make videos, or posts, or tweets, or just don't want to sound dumb on Wednesday at the comic book shop, then make sure you know everything in this book. Be able to quote it.

ra: I had this book as a kid and thought, now I'm an adult and perhaps I should give it a look and see if perhaps it was just too advanced for me. We'll, it introduces some great terms and techniques in art, but teaches you nothing. There are some excellent spheres and cubes on a page illustrated and shaded and the image next to it is a completely rendered image of Dr Doom, or Captain America. Hmmmm there seem to be some steps missing.
Let's switch to perspective --- it says break out your rulers and T-squares! Hmmmm there is a cylinder above the horizon line... Oh that's just how you draw a fully rendered fantasti-car zooming past a 3 point bird's-eye view perspective... It's that simple! How did you ever have issues with perspective before? I must admit that I will never know.
Also the paper is super thin, like 1 ply toilet paper lifted from the Dr's office during the early days of COVID thin.
Perhaps that Will Eisner Sequential Art Book is more what someone really needs, I've read it and learned quite a bit about composing panels and images. Will Eisner was the greatest.
