Bob GBob G: Living in the midwest usa winters are brutally cold and the temps take there toll on everything and tires are no exception. Tires lose pressure in cold weather and its important to maintain them for safety. That's where this guage comes in. Everything possibly needed is in the box even including valve stem caps for when cold hands lose them. The guage is very well designed with easy to read led display. The air valve is is a good quality material with a heavy duty hose that's very flexible even in the cold temps. The air lever also large and long and very easy to push even with gloves on. Its already been dropped a few times proving its durability. As far as accuracy goes I measured 6 tires with a stick guage vs this digital readout and they all measured the same thing. Bitter temps are not fun and having a all in one guage like this makes everything 10x easier and faster. Absolutely fantastic product 10 stars!!

Mike: Where to begin? I have a compressor in my basement, and it is plugged into an outlet in my basement that is controlled by a 3-way switch. One switch is in the basement and there is another weather proof switch on the driveway side of my house. I have a compressed air outlet on the side of the house, run from the compressor with pex tubing. It’s handy. I can use air to blow off the grill, power nail guns, and inflate tires.

I have purchase a number of inflation tools over the years. And they all work. But not for my wife. The problem is that you need to hold the inflator at the correct angle, and with enough strength to make sure you are adding air, not letting air out of the tire.
This inflator can actually clamp onto the valve stem. And then it’s a one handed operation. And the digital gauge is very accurate.
When the inflator arrives, it comes with a bunch of stuff you will probably never use. Seriously. You will likely put it in a special place. A place reserved for all the crap you think you will need someday. But you won’t. And when you do, you’ll never remember where is is. So just throw it out. Or wrap it up and give it away to someone else at...

Donald ElliottDonald Elliott: I purchased this kit mainly to use when topping off my bicycle tires. The kit includes a Presta valve adapter which screws onto the Presta valve stem (common on bike tires today) and allows you to use a Schrader type tire chuck to inflate bike tires having Presta valves. I find this type of adapter a bit cumbersome to use, so I also ordered a Presta tire chuck. Since I would also be using this kit to check tire pressure on the car, I bought a couple extra quick-couple air fittings at my local hardware store. With a quick-couple fitting on the end of the pressure gauge hose and mating fittings on the Presta chuck and the Schrader chuck (included in the kit), I can change between the two in just a few seconds. When using this gauge, you'll need to be careful when inflating bike tires as the gauge does not indicate the actual pressure in the tire while the air is flowing into it and you can easily over-inflate the tire. You have to release the paddle valve and wait about one second for the gauge to display the tire pressure. This is not an issue as long as you know this is how it works. You can use the gauge to check the tire pressure even if you do not have it...

CHP Favorite: The quality is great, especially for the price. The display comes on automatically when connected to a valve stem. Display is large enough and bright. And when the valve stem is at the very bottom of the rotation, this just makes things a lot easier with the connection provided. Whether I am inflating or just testing this product changes everything for the better. The clip-on valve stem tip worked perfectly with barely a leak. It screwed on and off easily and quickly with no detectable loss of air. The display on the gauge lights automatically when it detects pressure and it is very easy to read. The inflation lever worked smoothly and I released the lever. The pointy device pictured with the other accessories turned out to be a beautifully crafted install/removal tool for the Schrader valve core. This handy gadget def worth the bucks on Amazon. plus it is a great gift for anyone to have as well. By the way, this also came with sealant tape as well. Maybe just in case if there is any leak if the thread is thin.
