Alex S.: If shortly – the Tire Pressure Gauge by AstroAI Digital is just a great tire pressure measuring tool.
Some details are below. (Please note - TPG for a tire pressure gauge.)
What do I expect from the “perfect” TPG?
1. Accuracy.
2. It should be convenient to use.
3. Reliable and durable.
4. Decent price.
I’ve been using the TPG by AstroAI for more than 3 months and here is what I can say about it.
1. I don’t have handy the calibrated professional TPG to be able to state whether it IS accurate or it is not. But, this TPG displays values that coincide (less than +/- 0.5 psi) with two digital TPGs I own (one is the JACO SmartPro Digital Tire Inflator Pump’s built-in TPG and the second is my old TPG.) To my opinion, this is absolutely acceptable accuracy. Especially, if take into account the fact that a tire pressure may vary significantly depending on, for example, ambient temperature - at least 1 psi difference (for small and middle-sized tires) to each 10 degrees difference of ambient temperature. (E.g. you measure tire pressure in the morning or the afternoon.)
2. This TPG’s appearance is different from most of the others....
