Jason Burton: It's not a Fluke, so don't go expecting Fluke level features and accuracy. It lacks a few things like Inrush but you are not going to find an Inrush clamp in this price range anywhere. It's easy to use, fairly accurate and good enough for around the home and garage work. If you are wanting something more professional, then spend the extra 100$+ dollars and buy a Fluke, until then, this will cover most of your needs.

Aleks Lukaszewicz: Compared the unit in lab test with calibrated Fluke 87, very close. Good for all field tests. DC Amps accurate with low current tested at 1A, reading 1A.

Mike: All in all it's a very good piece of test equipment. But when trying to measure DC amp parasitic draw on my vehicle, it's not very accurate. No matter what position I place it (after zeroing it) on the negative battery cable, it read like 2.5 amps with the engine off and stable. That's not possible when the voltage it stable at 12.5v or whatever. If it was truly drawing 2.5 amps, the truck battery would be dead overnight. Using a volt/amp meter in-line instead of clamp, I can get a very accurate DC amp draw. But this is still useful piece of equipment. With the car running, I can determine good voltage and amperage use. e.g. alternator output, etc. So for the price, I'll keep it. But if you truly need/want a clamp on meter that reads really accurate LOW DC CURRENT (meaning milliamps like in a car) then you're going to have to buy a better quality tester. Closer to the $90+ range. You don't need a $400 fluke, but you'll have to find something better than this. But for reading amps and not milliamps, this is fairly accurate.
