Myles Watt: Putting it together took a bit but wasn't hard, looks great and no problem folding it from a couch to a bed without a futon on it. Folding it with a futon on it is the problem. couch to bed no problem, bed to couch with a futon on top is the problem, but no problem just taking the futon off to fold it so it's whatever

Snoop: It's great for my son's playroom but the mechanism that folds and unfolds the frame doesn't work properly. Instead of a 90 degree angle it's at a 45 degrees angle.

Lydia: Not sure how easy it is to fix since I just paid someone to do the job but it has held up pretty well considering my partner is 360lbs and sleeps on is almost 50% of the time. The thing that holds the mattress up broke after a few months but that didn't really matter as the bed still held up on its own. I have slept in it a couple times and it's been ok considering I have a bad back and almost no bed is truly ok for me unless it's a sleep number bed BUT that being said, it's pretty good and very sturdy! It's easy to move around too. I like it alot!

Zach B: Was able to set up by myself with having very little handy skills. I just prepared myself going into it based on the reviews I read but it really wasn’t that difficult, just time consuming. Wait to tighten bolts at the end when you’re finished putting it together. My only complaint is the creaky sounds from the metal that occur when I shift around slightly. It’s also relatively lower and set back when in the couch position than I was expecting. Overall happy with the purchase, I couldn’t find any better alternatives

DAWN M.: This metal futon frame came with detailed instructions and all of the hardware and tools needed to put it together except for a Philips head screwdriver. There is an offered link for assembly videos, but they were not needed. I followed each step carefully and the finished result is sturdy and good quality! The measurements were just as advertised and our old futon mattress fit it perfectly! (I did not buy the mattress from this company). The frame transitions smoothly from a seat to a bed and back. This product is well priced and well constructed!

S. Schultheis: This was a value purchase as always. By my choice, it was assembled by myself & not all at once. It was put together over time throughout a week. It does what it supposed to do. A 8 inch poly-filled mattress was bought at value separately through a competitor (W. Mart). There was a little worry about mattress length vs. frame sitting length, but it was useless mind energy on my part. The mattress fit fine lengthwise, despite apprehensive thought. The two metal retainers on the front of the frame to hold a mattress in place and prevent it from slipping forward while in 'sitting position' are illustrated and written in the manual as to be fastened and screwed securely in place is "wrong" in its position. They fasten and screw securely from the outside of the frame; this on the opposite side of the instructions. The metal support frame gets in the way and does not allow secure placement of the retainers as described and shown on the page. The retainers were not manufactured with the right amount of design, or the frame was not, or the manual writers were wrong. Anyway, they attach securely from the outside to the preset screw holes from underneath to hold a mattress...

Angel: Un poco tedioso para armar pero si se siguen los pasos del instructivo no tendrás problemas llegó bien empacado, lo malo fue que unas tuercas venían sueltas afortunadamente estaban dentro de la caja. Las almohadillas de tope entre tubos no salen buenas, se caen al rosar las partes metálicas pero en general me parece buen producto espero y dure

KyleKyle: I’d like to start off by saying I originally ordered this EXACT product from a different website. While that was being processed I happened to find the same product on here, Amazon; only difference was Amazon sold it for $80 dollars cheaper! So I switched and bought from here instead, and I have to say it was a great buy. All parts were included, accompanied by a detailed assembly manual and its own little tool kit which I thought was quite cute :)
I ordered this product NEW, as they also sell partially used ones and everything was in great condition except one of the arm rest sides had some scratching in the paint. This wasn’t a huge deal as you can just repaint that little spot. I would recommend this buy; best deal on any website I found. I put it together by myself within an hour or two, and as you can see by the finished product photo that EVERYONE, even the dog, loves it :)
(Mattress in photo on Futon was SOLD SEPARATE, does NOT come with frame!)
