Rubber is fantastic. Adhesive was helpful to aid in installation but simply was not up to the task for much more than a BRIEF temp hold. We set the fasteners aside as they were in our view too small. We used 1.25" roofing nails instead

Looks like it’s made out of good material and might last but my biggest concern is the three M. tape is on the wrong side. Should be on the opposite side where it’s located at now.

The product itself is fine. The tape they use is useless. I cleaned and lightly sanded my area with 220 grit. Used a tack cloth then a clean rag with rubbing alcohol let it dry for 2 hours while I tackled a different project then attempted to put it on my door. The tape was very inconsistent in its holding. Some spots awesome can not even attempt to move it. Other places it would not stay adhered. I know my surfaces we clean and prepped properly. My fix was I stamped holes every 2 inches and then made a small 1/8" thick by 1" wide and bolted it to the door. In reality this is the better way to do this. However if you are looking for a lick and stick application I can not recommend this item.

This is an easy to use product to seal the bottom of your garage door with. I just ripped off the old seal ( Cracked, brittle and falling apart ) and then I pulled the nails out, making sure that the bottom of the door was nice and smooth ( free of wooden splints and dirt ). I then started to nail on the new ( Universal Garage Door Seal ) but, found out very quickly that I could have used an extra pair of hands to hold the new seal in place while I was tacking it up. So, I grabbed my garbage can and a ladder and ( DRAPED ) it over them ( spaced out ) to help me to nail the new one in place! It worked like a charm! Coming up in my next reviews, what I think about my new ( Defender Security Satin Nickel U 10827 Door Reinforcement Lock ). ( Wait till you hear how EASY this one is to install!!
